Hello, New here!
Twice I've drawn up a lengthy hello and initial first month experience message, but the forum ate it, I swear!
Anyways, here's the short of my ~1 month experience
-I like my v-core 2.0 with light PG eliquids
[Edit to add a pick of the V-core in case people don't know what it is)

^^ Dunno what is up with the formatting...
-Both my Vivi novas (2.8 and Mini) leak at the bottom threads and at the top were the top cap sits on the neoprene. Fixed the first with a hair of plumbers tape. The second was fixed on the mini by gently using the handle of a screwdriver to tap down the top. (The metal fittings are pressed on). Haven't figured it out on it's Big Brother though.
I had to go to %100 VG as my wife is allergic to the PG.
-Don't go %100 VG without knowing how to cut it down. I can't wick %100 liquid, and so far cutting it with %5 PGA I still can't get more then a hit or two off it before dry it and it tastes horrible. Tried up to %10 distilled water and barely vapable and very muted. My only real solution was ordering 3 30ml of %100 PG of the same flavors I already have, and will mix them when they get here. I'd like to hear more about this, as I've tried the suggestions I've seen here.
-Try someones e-cig or buy a cheap-o to see if you can stand it.
-Once you know you can stick with it, INVEST IN GOOD EQUIPMENT!
If I had to do it again:
VAMO VV MOD or similar (It's worth it. Variable Voltage, short protection, coolness, battery life, etc)
3 different tanks/heads with a couple spare attys (for different flavors, and if one or two are in cleaning stage)
second battery for backup purposes...don't want to be caught with only 1 battery, and it's dead!
2-3 suitable mixing bottles. You'll want them.
2 simple syrenges (yes I can't spell). Mine were given to me by the local Wal-Greens pharmasist
At least 30ml juice, if not more, if you know what you like already. My local kiosk allows you to try them.
And the no 1 tip: Buy online! BUY ONLINE! ***BUY ONLINE***!!!
My local kiosk I got my gear from was too expensive but I wanted instant gratification. Their eliquid is $10/10ml and $20/30ml. I spent $25 on 3x 30mil incl shipping online and got that plus a free 15ml sampler...would have cost me $75 locally.
It is truely worth doing it right the first time instead of how I did it, local and piece by piece...and I still don't have a good VV mod, just a twist and some unknown battery.
I saw the kiosk at my local mall (Clackamas Town Center, been on the news lately with that mall shooting in Oregon and it's a block from my place...) and made the decision right there and then to quit the analogs so I bought into it.
I've been better then a month now without a single analog and, after a lot of trial and error, am a happy vaper.
Comments, questions, etc. etc. very welcome!
