And I DO know how big a deal the tile is, sweetie. I have HATED the yucky blue counter top in my kitchen for years - it clashes with everything in our open floor plan. I've got to make those same decisions really soon and it is driving me crazy to put all that stuff together in so short a time!!!

lol. ive been remodeling for 2 years. doing all the work myself (i was a finish carpenter and stone fabricator before becoming an awesome college student).

Then haul fur to my house and help me decide how to remodel 2700 sq feet. I have 8 days to decide what I want. The builder just left (after picking up a check for the first third - $37,876.00) but he said I could do anything within reason. He said that with a wink so I guess 'within reason' is up for debate... I want to knock out a wall between the living room and one bedroom to make the living room bigger. Who needs five bedrooms, anyway?!? Five bedrooms, three full baths, a master suite with a hut tub...back in 97' such things could be had for $97,000... Now see why we are fighting to keep it? We couldn't buy a closet for that now...

Since they had to turn off the water, our pool now has ducks living in it the yucky green swamp water and insurance has to pay to have our pool redone. If you did a good job helping me decide how to do all this, we could move your bunny hutch out by the pool - right next to my little patch of tomatoes and carrots...

I am no good at decorating. I told you 'Early Hoarder' is not what I want anymore. Anybody have some ideas???? Raven? I'm thinking a pale pumpkin with turqoise accents in the living room. Now that I said it...maybe not. See what I mean?!? My furniture is a hodgepodge of Asian and Middle East antiques my folks left me. How do I put a sectional with a chaise lounge and recliner in that? Cuz that's what I really want...

Our Vegas Vapers Meet and Greet is tonight so I might be offline unless I can get a signal way out in east Timbucktoo...

Five BEDROOMS, four of which are about big enough for a twin bed and a lamp...
Three bathrooms - if you forget to close the door when you go in to pee, you can't close it once you sit down...
I guess you could call it a Mini-Mansion. Or maybe a Pee Wee Palace? The backyard is bigger...
BUT I LOVE IT!! My house is my castle and my hubby is king...and he always asks my permission before he says so.

LV M&G turnout was small...BUT fonosmoak, who makes the Phideas Woodsman, came and brought a basket of his latest design. He does amazing things with very cool woods - a true craftsman.

Okay, the pic is a little big...but at least I figured out how to put it here. Besides, I copied it directly from his forum post. So there.

A certain handsome man who wears the same kind of wedding ring as me, opted to buy his own belated anniversary present...seeing as how for one night only, the price was drastically reduced...he said "What's made in Vegas ought to stay in Vegas". Can't argue with that logic..nor the fact that he is, in fact, my Liege Lord.

He's been very jealous of my PB. Hey, if it keeps the peace! BTW, the basket was pretty empty when we broke up for the evening. Kinda feel sorry for all those poor folks on the waiting list for the new juice feeder model...

I hope BunnyBest Airlines flies to Michigan. My 1950s ceramic bathrooms really need to have their pink/peach tiles ripped out for something more modern. But Raven and you first, lol.

Sus, even with the deep discount, I woke up in a state of sticker shock. But he never asks for anything and the HUGE vapor cloud around his head is keeping the smoke from coming out his ears......lol. He LOVES his Phineas!! It was our last hope before jumping up to a 5 volt mod.
I've got some awful cute pictures to show you guys...if I could figure out how to get them off the camera with our current setup. Will try. You've got to see my little Strawberry Fairy at Ren Faire.
Must have more coffee now...

No, it was just the illusion of a delusional...today's 'holiday' was one of those fake ones nobody gets except government employees while we still work it to pay for their three day weekend...and I don't know how you guys do it but if I don't get some decent sleep pretty soon...the bags under my eyes are packing bags...mainlining coffee and vaping high nic just aren't the healthy choices...
