Hello.

I'm Ben, live in the south east of England (UK) and have been off the cigarettes for 9 days now. I found the forum while looking for different types of e-cigs after trialing ClearSmokes offering.......which I must add wasn't a very pleasant experience - mainly due to leaking carts. Anyway, I opted for Green Smoke as a friend of mine said he uses them and borrowed me the USB cig and a cart. OK, it appears to be a little expensive, but as I'm a busy person, the ease of use suits me.

I was smoking around 20 a day (Marlbrough Lights) and haven't even reached for one since starting this.

I've read quite a bit on the different types available and was wondering what is available in the UK that could provide a higher volume of vapour, as I seem to be sucking hard on the GreenSmokes to get the satisfaction of the "smoking" feeling.

I was looking to use e-cigs as a means to an end to smoking.

Been lurking for a week or so and this seems like a great forum!

Thanks for any info.

Hi Ben! Welcome to the forum... :)
I'm not from the UK, but you may get an answer from somewhere else... If not, post five times (welcome other newbies or browse posts and express your thoughts) and after about an hour, you should be able to post in the UK forum area... I'm sure someone will help you there...
Congrats on not smoking for that long! It's hard, even with ecigs... :)

As far as a mini type like you are using...the forums widely consider the smokeless image volt the best...by a wide margin...as for its availability in the UK I couldn't say since I'm stateside...I'm sure someone will be able to help you soon enough on availability issues...aside from that happy capping and welcome to E C F!

If you're looking for clouds of vapor, look into the Joye Ego line of batteries and their 510 cartomizer/clearomizer counterparts. Also look at the new(ish) Ego Twist Variable Voltage batteries. They cost around $25/each but you can adjust the power on them to get the perfect vape.

Hope this helps you in your quest to stay off analogs altogether.

Hello & welcome Benny :)

I'm also in the UK - even further South West than you :D

Unfortunately, your greensmoke isn't going to be much better than what you first bought. I may be wrong, but believe it's the same as the Blu sold in the states.

As others have said, you would do far better going for something bigger than a ciggie lookalike - for instance, a Riva or ego. Have a look at this list of good UK suppliers -

ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - E-cigarette & E-liquid Suppliers List.

Thanks for the info Chrissie. I was hoping to keep using e-cigs as a last step to quitting altogether. But the more I read and look at all this stuff, I'm starting to get worried I'll end up addicted to vaping instead....... My addictive nature has had me in all sorts of trouble with drugs and alcohol in the past and smoking is/was my final vice to give up. Don't get me wrong, I still have a drink now and then and the odd puff very rarely, but I'm worried I'll replace smoking with vaping and end up having to try and quit that too lol!

Well done Benny Boy!!! 6 days myself here - 20/30 a day girl myself and now 6 days clear!! I'm using the Tornado Tank - dead easy to use and can set myself up for the whole day ahead in a matter of seconds... had to drive to my nearest shop beforehand to buy smellies! Posted on the new members forum on my first day and been unable to log back in until tonight (I'm not very techie) but, once I was able to log back in, I was overwhelmed at the responses I had - really informative and helpful - very impressed with the whole set up & the community that are able to offer advice/assist. Here's to day 10 for you and day 7 for me!
