Hi been here a few times and got average e cigs and finally bought a mod the itaste svd cant wait to get it man been an on and off vaper for a long time just didn't find the power i was looking for behind e cigs but a co worker of mine brought in a vamo v2 with an iclear 30 tank tried it and wow just wow.
It has been on my mind since so i took the dive and made promises of quitting analogs so that will happen. What i was hoping for from the forum was support ,tips & tricks to stay at it , and a good place to find e liquid and supplies or different tanks i have so many questions that you all could help me with so i kinda wanna make this post into a simple Q&A Post not only for myself but for those who are like me and need the support.

I was hoping you all could help me find an e liquid supplier that sold grape at around 30pg/70vg?

When using a charger for the mod batteries how do you know when it is done charging is there usually a little led that tells you?
(Havent received mine yet getting excited)

In switching to vaping im going into it with a different mindset it being a hobby instead of making me healthier is this good?

Making it a hobby will it still save me money after the start up?

Does switching to vaping with someone help?

Working with vaping in a stressful environment any tips?

Carrying around a second battery 18650 should I? or will one last me the day?

E liquid steeping is kinda like aging it right? I still have a mixed batch of my own should i keep it even if it is dark or toss it?

Kinda confused with variable wattage and variable voltage just more steps in between or whats the real difference?

And even though i have countless more little questions and could go on one last one that i still am confuzzled with
On the inhale i have always hit it like a cigarette taking the hit into the mouth then inhaled should i do that or straight inhale?(inhale directly to the lungs)

Thanks to you all yall with out you i would never even have bought my first e cig

1)a good place to buy juice is mtbakervapor they have the cheapest juice but a very good quality, or you could try DIY
2) normally there is a little led light that goes off when they are done
3) Thats perfectly fine. Thats what i did, i started vaping to switch from smoking to vaping and now i do it as a hobby.
4) Well once you make it a hobby it will cost quiet a bit of money to get that perfect mod, but you can always get into making your own. its not that hard but it has a learning curve.
5) If you start vaping with someone it does help, it gives you that edge of trying things out without really buying it and they can also push you to try different mods and juices
6) Just have fun with vaping, try not to get stressed out and just have fun with it.
7) I always carry around a second battery with me and if i dont have another one i just bring along another mod like the ego twist
8) yeah i guess you can say steeping is like aging, it all depends on how long you've had the liquid.
9)variable wattage is just a more accurate number than voltage(correct me if im wrong), i dont really use the variable wattage on my mods because i'm just use to the voltage but its all preference.
10) With the inhale, i always bring it into my mouth then inhale into my lungs but someone said its bad to bring it into your lungs straight away, also if you inhale straight into your lungs you tend to cough like crazy depending on the amount of vape you bring in.
Hope all this helped

Great answers from hidden gravy, I'll just add that you can find a boat-load of information about the SVD in the Variable Voltage APV Discussion section of the forum.

Also, P Busardo has an excellent review that will walk you through the setups and the menu options of the device. It's a little long, but it covers pretty much everything you'll need to know to get it going.

and another question for the i clear 30 will some juices crack the tank i didnt know before but apparently it does so i was wondering if i have to stay away from some until i get like a kanger protank or what idk

yes the iclear will crack because its made of polycarbonate so certain juices like strong cinnamon and fruity flavors tend to crack the tanks

Welcome! I have surely found this forum to be helpful and supportive. I agree with the comment about having fun with vaping. I have found that trying lots of juice in different pg/vg ratios and in various flavors is part of the fun and what keeps my craving in check. My favorites now come from Mt. baker Vapor (go to the coupon section in this forum for a discount) and Halo. Do keep in mind that some companies make the juice as the orders come in, so they often need to steep (get better after a week or 2). I make sure that I order juice way ahead of the time I will need it.

I do not have a mod but I would assume the charge has a scale or a light that will tell you it is charged.

In switching to vaping im going into it with a different mindset it being a hobby instead of making me healthier is this good?

I my opinion, that is the best mindset to have. And believe me when you start reading the forum and adding to you wishlist, you will realize it is certainly a hobby

Making it a hobby will it still save me money after the start up?

I think everyone spents alot to get started. In order to stop smoking, it is worth every penny. After the initial investment, you learn from reading this forum, that you can save a considerable amount of money buy mixing your own juice and rebuilding coils etc. But I would suggest first just learn to enjoy your new "addiction".

Does switching to vaping with someone help?

That would be entirely a personal preference. If you have a friend that wants to try with you, that's great. If you are doing this on your own..... this forum is here for you.

Working with vaping in a stressful environment any tips?

Not exactly sure what you are asking. Personally I stay stressed a lot, so I just make sure if I am going out into the world... extra supplies (i.e. batteries, juice, atomizers, cartos etc.) If I am at home I just fill up and get on the computer and come to this forum. If vaping doesn't seem to be satisfying you may need to vape more or get a higher nic juice. If all else fails...continue vaping after medication. If you have a more specific question.... you can always ask someone here.

Carrying around a second battery 18650 should I? or will one last me the day?

I am still in the ego battery stage of my journey. But if I were to have a pv that required a battery... I wouldn't leave the house with out a backup and a reserve backup of all my supplies. But that's me.... It may not bother you if you were not able to vape til you returned home. Again this would be a personal preference.

E liquid steeping is kinda like aging it right? I still have a mixed batch of my own should i keep it even if it is dark or toss it?

Yes steeping is the time after mixing a juice that gives the flavors a chance to become friendly with each other. Most prefer a dark cool place. I put mine in a drawer. If your juice is still good... use it. If it tastes bad... toss it. Some juices are wonderful right away. Some of the darker colored juice and the tobacco flavored, I think take a little longer to steep. There are some juices that no matter how long they steep... stay nasty and will eventually be thrown out in favor or re-using the empty bottle.

Kinda confused with variable wattage and variable voltage just more steps in between or whats the real difference?

You will find all kinds of help with this in this forum and remember that YouTube is there for you too.

And even though i have countless more little questions and could go on one last one that i still am confuzzled with
On the inhale i have always hit it like a cigarette taking the hit into the mouth then inhaled should i do that or straight inhale?(inhale directly to the lungs)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ncw8-phg5a0 This is a good start and several more if you still need instructions. I personally have always vaped the way I smoked cigarettes. But I watched all the videos too. It kind of like Vaping 101 class. If you have never vaped, you may find yourself coughing some. If you do, just take it easy, hold the vapor in your mouth for an extra second or two and just give your self time to adjust. The problem will resolve itself.

You made a wonderful decision to switch to vaping. Congratulations to you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. There is alway help and support close by. You may want to space your questions out into more than one post. You will learn that the reader can become overwhelmed too. I am still very new and I hope I was of some help to you. I don't have all the answers but I know where to go to find them. Have fun and and enjoy vaping.

A good way i have fun is by making DIY juices, you get to make them exactly how you like. If you want to get into DIY look up Wizardlabs also go to the DIY liquid section here:DIY E-Liquid Its also roughly $1.75/30ml bottle of DIY juice so you'll save A BUNCH of money by DIY

to the second or third question about turing vaping into a hobby, I have a recommendation. Figure out how much you were spending on cigs every month. Cut that number in half. Thats your budget.

So myself, I was smoking 350 dollars of cigs a month, thats 175. Thats your monthly budget of vape. I use this number for gear ( tanks mods, batts, coils ect. ) By doing this, I have still been able to enjoy a new hobby, educate the masses, and put a noticeable amount of money in my bank account each month that wasn't there ago 6 weeks ago.
