Hello everyone!

I'm completely new to the eCigarette world (still ANXIOUSLY waiting for my very first ecig to be delivered). It's nice to see such a great, informative community here!

I have a couple of questions (in spite of my n00biness, I apologize if it seems I just strictly signed up for answers - I truly do enjoy reading posts here!)...

First off, I ordered the Vapor King Ultimate Manual Kit on Saturday and it shipped out today. What I'm curious of... I've been looking around at various websites that offer accessories, cartomizers, batteries, etc and the amount of eCigarette models out there are just overwhelming to say the least. I haven't been able to actually tell which product I should be shopping for in terms of the "NumberLetter" code that all of these things seem to go by. I know it's a Vapor King ordered from Vapor4Life[dot]com, but I have no clue as to what to look for when purchasing cartomizers from bulk dealers, etc. Anybody feel like throwing me a bone?

Also, I came from smoking around a pack a day of Camel No. 9s (yes, I know they're insanely girly-but man, do they taste delicious!). At about $5.60/pack where I live, I'm spending about $175/month on cigarettes. Now, in a general/average range, does anyone here know a good approximation of about how much money this thing is going to save me per month? I found a small calculator on an ecig website (don't remember which one) that said I would save about $140/month, however coming in at an expense cost of only $35/month with the eCig, it has my eyes fluttering in excitement. Does this sound about right to you veteran eCig users?

That's about all I have for now.. I'm sure I'll have plenty more questions as my mind begins to churn and I flip through more posts here at the forum.

Thanks all! And I can't wait to enjoy a healthier habit-kicking formula for getting my smoking under control! :)

You purchased a kr808d-1 and you will find the cartomizers and parts are carried by many vendors. As far as cost a lot will depend on how you vape. If you just buy prefilled cartomizers instead of refilling yourself you will spend a lot more. It is always good to have a spare battery or 2, possibly a spare charger (in case any of your parts fail) and a bottle of juice but most newbies tend to get carried away (I bought a lot of different juices to try) so spending can easily get carried away. lol If you can control yourself once you have your spare parts and refill your cartos cost is probably going to be just the juice you are using and some replacement cartos as needed.

Thanks a ton for your reply!

With my Vapor4Life order, I actually purchased 5 empty cartomizers (I'm definitely going to be refilling, there's just so much to choose from when doing so!). Actually, before I try and list everything off the top of my head, let me just copy/paste my order haha..

1 of : VAPOR KING-ULTIMATE MANUAL KIT
1 of : Caramel Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - Medium
1 of : Clove Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - Medium
1 of : Cowboy Nobacoo Juice (5 ml) - Medium
1 of : Hilton Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - Medium
1 of : Kamel Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - Medium
1 of : Vapor King Blank Cartomizers (Pack of 5)

So yea.. I do plan to buy a ton of cartomizers with the next paycheck as well as a bunch of more flavors. I'd like to try as many varieties of flavors as possible to try and narrow down my favorite (because after all, being a smoker and living in a smoker world, everyone has that distinct taste they prefer).

So I think initially my costs are going to be dumped into cartomizers and flavors (probably a couple extra batteries just in case).

Also, another question I have... Is it pretty hard to get used to limiting yourself from vaping too much? With a cigarette, after you finish one, you're done until you feel your body craving another one. With vaping, I'm sure you can easily get sucked into (no pun intended) vaping way too much, thus giving you that nasty lightheaded feeling, etc. Does the body adjust accordingly or does it take a lot of self-control?

Thanks again for your reply! :)

To help answer your question about cost'

Id say you are right on at about $35 per month. Could be more or a little less but that is about right.

Many things come into play here.. You might like to get new toys like new ecig model etc and more flavors that arent account for in the $35 monthly cost.. lol

read as much as you can on this board to get educated..

Vaping too much - can you limit yourself - well...lol..eventaully I'm sure the novelty wears off :D
I'm enjoying trying so many new flavors though, so I tend to vape a ton. One thing I have noticed though is I've lowered the nic content quite a bit now - just because I love the flavors so much that I'm not *so* worried about the nic being strong - the flavors themselves are strong enuogh (does that make sense?)
