Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm waiting on my first order from myvaporstore.com. I got the DSE901, a USB cable and e-liquid in Virginia flavor. I ordered yesterday and got an email this morning saying my order had been shipped!!

I'm both excited and scared too...I so want to quit and I get hopeful when I see how many people have kicked the analog habit. I don't want to fail again...LOL.

I have lots and lots of questions, but I'm still wading through all the how-to's I've found here on this forum before I start asking what's probably already been answered many times. :)

Wish me luck! :p

About 21 days ago, I felt JUST like you! Excited, scared, and all those feelings. I'm here 21 days later now and tobacco free. I could not be happier! It's hard at times, but it gets easier. You will think of analogs for a while, but if you have the desire to quit and stay strong, with these giving you the nic you need and the feeling of vaping, it's about the easiest thing one could do to get off ciggys. I wish you the very best of luck and success and the people here are all in the same boat and most are very, very kind and helpful to one another. I love thos forum for support and learning. So welcome!!!

Hi there!

Just a couple words of advice from the mistakes of a newbie. Someone may disagree with me, but rinse out your atomizers with hot water before you use them & blow through them to get the primer fluid out. It is nasty stuff. You will have to wait for them to dry, but you'll have to wait to charge the batteries anyway. Mine seemed to break in much faster that way too. You can use a blow dryer to dry them faster. You should be able to use them within an 1/2- 1 hour.

Also make sure the filler is actually in the cart (that black mouthpiece) and not in the atomizer when you top off (add your ejuice). So your adding on the side away from the mouthpiece. This way you won't get juice in your mouth.

It seems overwhelming and complicated, but it's really simple once you're into it a couple days.

Good luck!

Was simply wishing you luck because you asked for it. I personally smoked for 12 years, quit for 10 years ( the entire 10 was hell) smoked for three years, quit for three years (the entire three were hell) smoked for .............do we see a pattern here, LOL. Since I have been vaping(not long only about 2 months) the first couple of days it was a little weird but I wasn't freaked out 8-oto the point I had to have an analog ...........and since I first began vaping I have not had, nor do I now care to ever have, another analog again. I have finally found the relationship where all my needs are truely met! And seriously, I hope you have the wonderful results I have had.:nun:

Welcome. I would also recommend a couple of extra atomizers (and batteries). Nothing worse than starting to enjoy your changed lifestyle only to be interrupted by a blown atomizer...........

Good advice! It happened to me! I knew I needed a couple of spare atomizers but was waiting for payday because I spent kind of a lot on my NJoy Npro. I figured at least the atomizer would last a couple of weeks, then would order spares to keep around. 4 days after I got my e-cig, it quit working. I suspect it wasn't working very well in the first 4 days either.

Right now, I am back on analogs, and am trying to make them last because I'm going broke (with the new cigarette tax), and have no e-cig to fall back on. :(

On the bright side, I have since gotten paid and not only have spare atomizers coming, I also have a penstyle, and samplers of new liquid and a USB passthrough... you see where this is going, right? :D

Thanks so much everyone, for the warm welcome!! I'm still reading up on all of the newbie information...so much to process! I'm going to order another atomizer today because myvaporstore.com was out of stock when I placed my order or I would have.

In you all's opinion, what's the best place to order from with a quick turnaround? Price is not so much an option at this time as it will be down the road...I'd just rather get one as quickly as I can :)

This forum is amazing! :D

On the other hand, my experience is very different.

Admittedly, I have only been vaping a week, but I did not have any strong desire to give up smoking. I just thought that maybe I could cut down on the number of cigarettes I was smoking by using the e-cig whilst at home on the computer, as the cost of buying analogues was crippling. However, since I tried my e-cig a week ago, I haven't bothered with analogues at all (same thing has happened to my other half). We both have packets of analogues lying around the house and just haven't bothered with them at all.

Actually, that is a little bit of a lie: purely out of curiousity (ie I didn't have a need or desire for one), I lit an analogue to see what I thought of it..... and it tasted horrible!

One bit of advice though - IT DOESN'T TASTE LIKE SMOKING, and so it will taste strange when you first try it. For me, however, the wonder at the little contraption producing this vapour carried me through the first cart, by which time I had gotten used to the taste and decided I liked it.

Since then, I have been trying different favours (mixing up my own at home with flavourless liquid) and enjoying it immensely. :D

Thanks once again for the helpful information I've found here and throughout the site! I just ordered an extra battery, another bottle of lower strength juice and had to search through many sites to find atomizers, but found some at e-cigarette-mart and ordered 3. Does 7-15 days sound about right?

Getting closer to vaping I hope...maybe it will come tomorow! :D
