Hey everyone! So i finally lurked enough to the point that i had to join, been off analogs for about 2 months now, couldn't be happier. HOWEVER, i recently have found an interesting issue thats been giving me a slight worry. I use a Kicked Silver Bullet (9 Watts) with an AW-IMR-18490 Battery, usually using BOGE or IkenVape Diamond 510 LR Cartomizers in my Phiniac tank, (will have pics up soon), but i recently purchased an HH.357 Long-Barrel from AvidVaper for at home dripping. Everything works great, tastes great, vales stellar, but when using the HH.357 with the 510-510 adapter and drip shield on the Kicked SB, have noticed my SB is getting extremely warm, not hot, but definitely warm enough to the point that my hand is sweating. This NEVER happens when I'm using cartomizers on the SB. Is it possible that this is happening because of the heat from the HH.357 spreading to the metal of the SB? I'm pretty sure that this is the wrong thread to be posting this all in but for some reason i can't post anywhere but here :?:. Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks and vape on!

Heat is a normal byproduct of what we do, so the Q is how much heat is normal or safe. This is also why some APV's have thremal protection. The best bet with any PV is to just set it down for a few when you notice it getting to warm. Even if I don't have my kick in my sb I can make it get warm enough with a dripping atty that I set it down and use something else for a while.
