Just get yourself a clearomizer startup kit. When I started I got the cartos and a 8081-d battery with charger. Trust me, dripping and refilling the carto's are a pain in the rear. The clearomizers make it simple, they are cheap and if they break buy a new one($4). They let you fill up the tank with your juice that's good for at least a day and your off to the races. Nothing you can do about recharging the batteries(no matter what model or threading you get). This is the simplest way.
