Hey guys, I am fairly new to e-cigs and stumbled on this forum a few weeks ago and decided I should sign up. I wish I found this site before I ordered the Blu cig, but I have since got my refund.

I just got my Joye 510 today and it came with some pre-filled cartridges. I dont really like the flavor and would like to add some e-liquid that I bought in it. My question is: do I have to take out the cotton (with tweezers) and wash it under water to get it clean and then put the new liquid in?

Hello and welcome you can take it out and rinse it I would also recommend rinseing the plastic part of the cart as well or you could still get some residue in there as well.

you can just wipe dry with a dry paper towel or some thing a few swipes should do it you can also go on youtube and check out how to replace polyfiber with the teabag method when it starts tasteing bad on you did that the other day worked out nice .

Air dry is fine.

Just smoosh it between a paper towel a few times until no more water is evident.

It takes about three or four smooshes, depending on how hard you press.
And then you're good to go.

Total time: About 20 seconds

One week ago, I got my refund for my ill-advised purchase of the Blu kit. Those guys must HATE this forum. I wonder what their return rate is. Must be high among those Blu customers who find this forum before the 30-day trial period is up.

Yeah they really suck. The first hit off of them is good and then you struggle to get any out of it. The Joye 510 has been really good so far.

I too am very new to this but let me say that I did make the mistake of ordering the Blu first but then came to my senses and ordered a VK from V4L. Already got the VK and I ordered it a day after I ordered the Blu. I have no intentions of even opening the Blu...am sending it back the day I get it. This forum is the best place to get the truth about all the different kinds of ecigs that are out there and what the best ones or the most popular ones are. Thanks for all the helpful info. Will be a member for along time!
