I'm 56, from central Wisconsin. Had my first smoke at 6. My entire life, I have been a social smoker. I only smoke when I drink.

I can go two weeks without a smoke, and have a pack in 6 hours.

At I get older, I worry a little even about that much smoke. My son bought me a "smoking everywhere" e-cigarette that I had used for a little while, then just set aside.

Well, I figured I'd start using it again, but I started reading numerous complaints about the product when I "googled" it.

Now, I am wondering if it pays to buy the cartridges for my unit, or just start all over again.

Any input would be a big help.

You could get a disposable for when you go out for about $10.

Or you could get a kit for about $30 but you'd have to purchase juice, charge it and things like that. It all depends on how much trouble you want to go through.

LiteCigUSA has a disposable that comes with cartridges and even a charger for $10.

Disposable E Cigarette – 510 E Cigarette | Disposable 510 B Ecig | Disposable 510 B Vaporizer

What made me realize I'd like vaping was when I tried this disposable. Pretty amazing taste and TH and lasts a long time.

Hello, and welcome! If you want to take a next step into the vaping world, might I suggest the "510 no box" kit at cignot:

https://www.cignot.com/product_p/kit-510-nbx.htm

This has a 510 connection, and from what I can tell is becoming kind of a standard(most mods come with a 510 connection). Also, if battery life starts troubling you, you can later upgrade to an eGo which will be compatible with the parts you already have. I also found a great price on a nifty new gadget called the 510-T which is cigarette sized, and takes tanks full of liquid. Check it out here:

JOYE 510-T (TANK) ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE STARTER KIT - BLACK

Cheapest price I can find on that one. $37 wow.

Oh one more thing, if you get the 510 kit, I highly recommend cartomizers rather than the atomizer-cartridge setup, IMHO, the atty-cart setup just plain, well, sucks.

I wish you the very best of luck. Welcome to the forum! Happy vaping :)

I have recommended the E-go and mostly the Riva 510 kit from Liberty-Flights to 4 people and they love them. Some of their kits come with 5 cartomizers and some come with atomizers and cartridges that you refill yourself (both atty's and carto's are refillable) This save you money but refilling them yourself. The kits have everything you need to recharge your batteries and the kits have 2 batteries that are larger than a regular cig. but lasts alot longer between charges. If a kit doesn't have cartomizers with them, then order a 5 pack of Boge cartomizers and don't forget the e-liquid for refills. LF sell e-liquid too. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions PLease keep asking and the people on this forum will be very helpful.

Hello swede. I don't think a disposable set up is what I want. The kit sounds like it might be OK. What do you mean "juice"? My "Smoking Everywhere" set up had replacement cartridges.

Hello Clinton. The 37 dollar one looks OK, but, if I could, I would like to keep the "cigarette" look.

Like I said, so many to chose from...pretty confusing.

Thanks.

Or just look up rn4081 at many of the vendors on here, smoking anywhere was one of the 2 overpriced ones I started with and I still use it but buy generic rn4081 parts for it. Get some cartomizers and a couple of extra batteries and they work fine.

Generic parts will work in the unit?

Thanks wy. I'll research your recommendations. Since I spent big bucks on my first one, I would either like to use it, or get something I'll really be happy with that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Welcome to ECF !!

Are you wanting to stay with the cig type shape ? Willing to go a bit bigger ? There are so many different directions you can go for something new...or order cartridges or juice to refill what you have....

Hello cw. I do like the cigarette "look". But, if something else is clearly superior, I would consider it.
Sigh. Why can't this be "easier".

Welcome to ECF Budda Everyone has made such great recommendations for you already , I like the Riva 510 with clearomizers again it all depends what you feel comfortable with and if you don't mind having to recharge often, the Riva will last me all day. juice is a personal preference so you will have to experiment to get the flavor that is right for you. Again Welcome. :)
