I be currently lookin' into the vape scene and thinkin' o'switchin' over. What would you scallywags recommend for a discernin' pirate o' the South Coast?

From what I be readin' a VV pen is the way to go and so I was lookin' at the Apollo Valiant with a ProTank 2 Mini?

Welcome! You'll find a lot of good advice here! I've never heard of your selection but I've used the PT2 Mini; personally prefer the Aerotank Mini myself, but the best choice is the one that works for you!

Welcome to ECF! You are definitely on the right track with your equipment selections. I quit smoking with a variable volt, ego type battery and a plastic, bottom coil tank. It worked with the same type of heating coils as the Mini Protank II you mentioned. A glass tank is much better then a plastic tank. There are some liquids out there that react with plastic and weaken it. Many people also say that plastic tanks affect the taste of the juice. I haven't experienced the difference in taste myself, but my husband is more sensitive and will only vape out of stainless steel or glass.

Thanks for your replies! I've taken another look around and now I'm tempted with the Kanger Mow and Vision Spinner V2 combo I've seen. Any thoughts on those? Little more expensive, but seems to have what I want. USB charging is the main point for me as I'm going travelling soon and I don't want to have to carry around batteries and chargers!

Follow up question:

Reading lots about 'coils' and 'heads' etc. What will need replacing in these atomizers(?) and how often roughly? Really tempted with the above setup now I've looked into it a little more!

I would go with the protank 3 and any vv battery will work just get a high mah like 1300 or the 2200

Harlen, thanks for the tip I shall take a look! And then I buy replacement heads for the protank and change them out every so often? Still trying to find a decent bit of info on that side of things!
