hey guys, just found this forum as i was doing some research on these things. I purchased a "fifty-one trio" from a kiosk at a mall by me. I let it charge over night, woke up today and felt like a kid on xmas waiting to try it out. I brang it with me to work, smoked a few hits on my way to work, and soon after i got to work the thing wouldn't produce good hits anymore. I figured i just got scammed by the guys at the mall, cause he told me one cart is about the equivalent of an entire pack of ciggarettes. so i replaced the cart and the same thing. probably got 5-10 good hits out of it. I came home and decided to give the other battery a try. The other battery seems to give me constant hits all the time, i've been smoking with it since about 7pm, and its still going strong. Has anyone else had a problem like this with any of the fiftyone trio batteries? the guy said it has a lifetime warranty, so im probably gonna take it back to the mall. Im just glad the other one works good, cause i read so many good things about these, then tried it and got 10 hits, and thought wow... 6 carts for 10 dollars... 10 hits... im gonna go thru a cart a day... gonna cost me way more money then regulars haha.

sorry for the long post, and are there any sites in the US where i can order liquid to refill these bad boys? can i even refill the Fifty-One trio?

caveat: i'm no expert

i started with the trio also. it was pretty cool till i got on this forum and read about all the wonderful toys, mods and whatnot. the trio atty i got fell apart after about a week, so i switched to the joye510. love the manual battery. the 510 atty will fit your trio batt btw. and yes the trio carts can be refilled, and there are plenty of suppliers in the us (check the vendor thread).

Buddy, welcome to the forum. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like as there are always people here willing to help. I would probably take that unit back like you said and buy a kit from one of the reputable suppliers listed in the supplier forum. Also, get some liquid. The prefilled carts will get expensive. You might want to take a look at the wonderful world of vaping thread by DonDaBoomVape.

Awesome. i'm gonna have to go look thru the vendors. I can see myself spending lots of money, as i think i am already hooked on these. I went from 2 packs a day... yesterday. to 2 cigarettes and the e-cig today. My girlfriends gonna love it. haha. thanks for the quick reply too, i think i will be a regular here :)

I ran the numbers and realized I was spending about $300 per month on cigs (@ $60.00 per carton). Last week I ordered the 510 starter kit, 5 disposable 510's and a 1oz bottle of tobacco flavored ejuice. I went back Friday and ordered 5 additional atomizers and two mega batteries, 5 empty carts and 3 one oz bottles of different flavored ejuices. Throw in another 3 bucks for a box of lipton tea so I could do the PTB modification for my carts and the grand total is about $250.00 That will last me more than a month. The initial outlay is still cheaper than one month of analogs. My husband is so ecstatic that I'm no longer smoking he said it would be worth 5 times that per month if it keeps me away from "real" cigarettes.

Hi Buddy and welcome to the forum! If you want to try out the 510 a great place to go is madvapes.com and look for their disposable 510 for only 9.95. I use a dse901 and haven't tried the 510, but if I ever decide to that's where I'll go to see if I like it as much as everyone else here does. Hey, you can't go wrong for 9.95!

I know everyone recommends the 510 and it is a good unit but I think you will quickly become dissatisfied with the length of time the battery lasts. You might want to consider a unit that takes larger batteries but you can still use the 510 atomizers on. If I could go back, I would have started with a mod.

Alright cool, i'm not gonna buy anything quite yet. i'm gonna actually do my research so i don't end up with another fifty-one trio :)

Yes, do some research. That is the best thing I could recommend. There are many good units out there that you can buy including high voltage units that hit harder. Take your time. Also, if you buy something that you don't like there is a classified section on the forum where people buy and sell stuff all of the time.

I got my kit from ElectroNicStix. I ordered my spare parts from them as well. My 510 disposables were from MadVapes. I'm glad I ordered the disposables as well since I can rotate them with the others until they die and the parts are interchangeable. The ejuice I ordered from TastyVapor. I started out with tobacco but now I'm broadening my horizons towards some of the flavored juices.
