New here. Never read the forums before. Mooch's approved battery list link brought me here. Saw that there is a wealth of information sharing here so seen it as worth while to register.

I am 48, have augmented vaping with traditional cigarettes for at least the last 8 years. I have, however, been tobacco free now for the last 5 months and feel I have rid myself from them for good. It was not until I finally took the plunge and started building that I found a way to quit tobacco. I would class myself an advanced intermediate vapor. I learn fast and research everything I do (hence what brought me here), I even read the back of shampoo bottles... lol.

Thank you all for having this community and look forward to learning more.

My weapons of choice against tobacco.

Howdy. Interesting looking collection of gear. I don't recognize any of it though. How about giving us some names.
From left to right:

ISmoka Eleaf 100W TC with Geekvape Tsunami 22mm, SS 316 wire, dual fused clapton x2
Joyetech Cuboid with IJoy/Limitless RDTA 24mm, SS 316 wire, clapton x2
Joyetech Evic mini with Wismec Theorem 22mm, SS 316 wire, Joyetech notch coil
Wismec Presa 100W with Geekvape Avocado 24mm, SS 316 wire, dual fused clapton single
Wismec Presa 100W with Wismec Inde Duo 30mm, SS 316 wire, dual fused clapton x2

I have an assortment of tanks I never use anymore as they were not enough and I would go through coils like crazy. I prefer high VG fluids that typical tank coils do not like. I also keep a Velocity Tobeco clone (Kanthal dual fused claptons x2) that I use to taste eliquid before using in my favorites.

I could talk about vape gear all day... lol It is a hobby now....

Thanks. Interesting collection. Most of them I haven't even heard of. You obviously went a lot further down the road than I did. Sitting here puffing on a Provari / Protank. But it's all cool. I love reading about the fancy stuff even if I don't need to go there myself.

You came to the right place.

Just turned it into a hobby. It doesn't matter what you are vaping on. It is personal preference, whatever suits you best. I have AIOs I give out to friends to see if it will help getting them off smoking. Some stay with it, some want more and some augment it with cigs. I was just sick of smoking and spent a lot of money finding out what was good for me and it came down to what is pictured. And it all was still cheaper than smoking.. lol

It is like a computer. Some just want a web browser and some want a work station. Neither one is wrong. Just fit for purpose.
