I thought Indy vape was only open Mon-Thursday? Is he staying open for the race traffic? I thought he was the only "store" around. How do you know when you have "killed" an atty.....and I wonder why he didn't sell me a bigger battery? Hmmmmm, maybe cause I didn't ask the right questions, cause he was a very nice gentleman.:)

Curly, A dead atty is like a dead mammal. It is no longer able to get warm. A clogged atty draws like trying to slurp a Frosty through a coffee stirrer. Flooded atty, warm and slight taste but no vapor. Dry atty gets real hot & tastes metallic and no vapor.

Ya' know, there should really be a pull down chart of that information for newbs?

sorry ya that was on a thursday...sometimes very hard to to tell if an atty is truly dead or recoverable. Youll see on here that people have come up with all sorts of ways to clean attys. Im assuming mine were just dead because they died within hours and they were regular old 510's not meant for 6 volts. Then again im hearing all over here that theres a recent "bad batch" of attys floating around. Hes got a multi meter for $7.99 that you can use i guess to test whether your atty carrying a charge/whether its dead or only "mostly dead" to quote "Princess Bride"....yes..very nice man. i told him it must be nice to do something you love lol..

Hey everybody! Glad to finally find and join this group! Been vaping a year as of June 3rd, and lovin' it! I live in Wanamaker, for those who don't know its right around Post Rd & I-74.
I see you were talking about vape friendly places and places to have a meet-up. Well, I've been trying to work over the people at New Bethel Ordinary and convince them to allow vaping at least at the bar if not in the main dinning area. Great little place. However, there is one place I dearly love that has never taken issue with me vaping inside. Centerbrook Drive-In which is effectively in Martinsville is an awesome place to catch a couple new movies and and get your vape on. Yes, its a drive in and thus outdoors so obviously vaping is allowed there. However, I vape inside the snack shack every time I'm there (apprx every other weekend) and have never been approached by workers. I was approached (and screamed at) by a patron who believed I was using drugs in there, but one of the staff quickly set them straight before I had a chance to. Anyway, I will cut my tangent short here. I just wanted to stop in and say hello!

Happy Vaping!:vapor:

Glad you finally found the group. It is nice to meet someone so close. I live in Wanamaker. I live at Franklin and Southeastern in a subdivision called Alder Grove. My wife and I just bought a house out here a little over a year ago. It would be nice to meet up sometime and exchange juices and see what each other have. Let me know what you think about that. PM me if you want to talk in more detail.

Hello there everybody!
Thanks to Fourleaf for showing me how to join the group!
I live near Kokomo in Miami county and I've been vaping off and on for almost a year.
I had a four month relapse to analogs but I'm back on track for about 3 weeks now.
Vaping 510's exclusively for now. I want to try others but I'm heavily invested in the 510 right now. Got about 6 months worth of DIY supplies so now I'm going to play with some new recipes. If you need something in a pinch let me know, I can mix up some unflavored (or flavored) in any strength you need.
I travel a lot in Indiana to some areas for work so you never know, maybe I'll see you out vaping sometime.

Buy you an eGo battery or two if you don't have one you can get one for 18-23 bucks... I don't use the stupid cone as it's purely cosmetic... much better than the regular 510 batteries. :)

it is very easy.. the hardest part is tearing the connector off a dead battery.. all you have to do is get one of the little triple a battery flashlights that have the push button on the back end of the light... drill out where the bulb is so that a connector will fit in tight.. then saw the tube to make up for the difference between the bulb and connector..
