Hi Folks,

New member and relatively new vaper here. I've been smoking analogs for nearly 20 years and have vowed to quit them since my wife and I had a daughter over 3 years ago now. It's been a tough battle, and if I'm being 100% honest, I'm still on analogs now, but cutting down fairly dramatically since I started vaping. When I first started trying to quit I used a disposable Blu, but didn't care for it so I pretty much wrote off ecigs for a while. Recently, my wife and I found out we're having another daughter, and of course she quit for the pregnancy and now I'm once again feeling the pressure to quit for good and set a better example for my children. I did a bunch of research as a lurker both here and on Reddit, and after reading a lot of information I picked up an MVP 2 starter kit, a Nautilus and 5 BVC coils for it. I also picked up some juice from Mt. Baker and 1 flavor from a local B&M. Still looking for my ADV after all this because I haven't found one that I am totally behind, but so far my favorite has been Blue Moo by Mt. Baker. The other flavors I have tried are Thug juice, Extreme Ice and Cotton Candy from Mt. Baker and Blue Raspberry Lemonade by High Caliber.

Anyway, I decided that it might be helpful to my journey to becoming a non-smoker to join the community here, so I made a profile. Just wanted to say hi, and that I'm happy to be here.

I wish I researched before buying... I'd have skipped ego's and gotten a VTR instead... or something else lol. Welcome to the forums! If you need help with anything feel free to ask.

Welcome. You've made the right choice to try Vaping, it is far better. and better for you, than smoking tobacco products.
It sounds like your starter equipment is pretty good, now you need to find some e-liquids that you can enjoy. I would suggest sample packs and/ or small quantities fro several vendors until you find the ones you really like. You already know about Mt. baker Vapor, maybe you could try some others like Heathers Heavenly Vapes, NocoTicket, Ahlusion, Highbrow Vapors, AltCig.com, MyVaporJuice.com and others. I would recommend you invest in e-liquids first, and hold off on some of the more expensive Equipment untilyou find several vendors you like. Good luck in your search, Vape Happy !

Thanks a ton for the extensive list of vendors! I'll definitely look into them and see if I can find a flavor I really, really like. I only have one friend that vapes, and he lives quite a distance from me. He's into the tobacco flavors, but currently my mindset is that I want something that tastes better than tobacco. If I can find something that I'm more encouraged to use than an analog and it kills the nic fits while trying to quit, I think I'll be all set. I'm getting by with my current flavors, I just feel like I'd be doing better if I could find something that I really loved. I tried a bunch in my local shop, but I didn't really care much for many of their flavors. I'm hoping to find a spot on Mt. Dew type flavor, but I'm really doing my research on it before I pull the trigger because I don't want to be disappointed.
