I am totally new to vaping. A friend suggested it as a way to quit smoking. I love it! But I am sooo confused about some of the terms. I plan on going to a local vape shop to check things out. I am very hands on in my learning process. I am interested in learning about drippers if any one has some suggestions. I really enjoy the clouds. Thanks! :)

Don't be shy, ask any questions you may have and the experts that have helped me will come around to help you in your journey. I tried dripping and it wasn't for me. Responding or going on other posts to say hello all count towards the 5 posts needed to open other parts of the forum (anti bot program). Then all you have to do is wait till the forum resets at about half past the hour and you are good to go. Good luck in your vape journey.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Drippers (RDA's) are not the only way to get a lot of vapor. In the past 6 months there have been many subΩ tanks introduced that rival drippers. Most of them come with stock coils and a few of them also come with a rebuildable base (or a separate one can be purchased) should you wish to build your own coils.

I think you are doing just fine right now. The pro mini tank is a good starting point. You don't wanna start dripping just yet. Learn all you can first. Then learn some more. Eventually upgrade your tank to a subtank and a good vv mod.Read, watch coil tutorials on YouTube. Learn about battery safety and ohms law. THEN you can move on to a dripper if you choose to do so.

Greetings from Mississippi and welcome to the board! You will love it and become addicted to this hangout! I am not, however, the person to talk to about hardware. Our local vape store has folks enthralled with the drip system. Looks like too much work for me. As long as my system works, I'm a happy camper. If it doesn't, I'm in the car going over there. They are great people and sometimes I hang around just to talk! Congrats on putting down the tobacco! Woo Hoo!:)

Welcome aboard
I would not recommend a dripper or other RTA to a new vaper, sorry. You have a lot to learn before you dive in to re-building tanks. Learn to vape then learn how an RBA works, learn how to build a coil such that you are not over stressing the battery you plan to vape it on. There is nothing magic about drippers or re-buildable tanks, doing it safely is the trick.

What they said. The guy suggesting you buy TugBoat crap, cotton, dual coils, 18/82 VG, is a ...... You don't need to know an exact set-up to buy...... You need links to learn stuff. Go to youtube.com, check out RipTrippers, and anyone similar to him. Also check out indoorsmokes on youtube.com.
