Hi all
Bought a Gamucci Classic a few weeks ago and despite problems with the atomiser and both batteries failing I wouldn't now be without it - in fact since the 2nd battery failed last Monday I've been climbing the walls without it.
Anyway, I purchased a couple of new batteries and a new atomiser from Jason, they arrive this a.m. so I'm nearly normal again now..........
I've also contacted the Vendor & Gammucci about the problems, I'll let you know what transpires.
As the noises, coming from some of the great frig-wits that run this pc country of ours, are leaning towards words like, 'ban it', 'control it', 'tax it', and 'hang all e-smokers by the neck until they are dead', I thought it may be a good idea to start looking at how these things (e-cigs) work - with the aim of being in a postition to manufacture diy ones at some future point.............
I've been an engineer all my life and, for the last 30 years, home engineering has been my hobby.
I also have a good understanding of basic electronics, and I'm sure that there are other people on the forum with simliar useful skills - even people who have just pulled their failed atomisers and batteries apart to see what's inside can make some useful contributions.
If there is any group already looking at these possibilities, please point me in their general direction.
If not, and there are other people on here that think this is a good idea please contact me.
I'm off now to try to find an e-juice mix that smells just like the smoke from one of my early angling mentor's pipe smoke.......I so wish I could remember the name of the bl00dy stuff.......
