I am new to the forums and semi new to vaping, been a few years since I've done it.

I was recently given a Manger T3S kit for me and my wife to help quit smoking. I know they aren't technically made to quit, but they work.

I was just wondering if anyone could suggest where to start with nicotene strength for liquid. We smoke menthol (L&M bold 100s) and was just wondering if we should go with the 24 or 18.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

First, welcome to ECF. Anything you want to know about vaping, you will find here. Everyone is different about their nic needs. You might want to buy a few small bottles of both 24 and 18 and see what works for you. I smoked over 45 years, and was able to quit on 18. Either way, you've made a wise decision. Good luck

Howdy Lash...congrats on trying to quit..and it'd depend on you and how many ciggies you smoke(smoked) per day...try 24mg just get 15ml..and back it down to an 18 or 12 even if you've got symptoms (we started at 24mg and the palpitations, headache and nausea caused me to kick back to a 18mg quickly *lol*)

    good luck!!

Depends more on how much you smoked. I was a 2 1/2 PAD smoker for 40 years, so I started at 36, dropped to 24 after a couple of months, but still kept a tank of 36 for the Bad Days. Now I am at 18 and happy with that, not really interested in going lower. The less you smoked the lower you can start. I think most 1 PAD smokers start at 12 or 18.

    Thanks for all the advice!

    I am/was about a pack and a half a day smoker.

I picked up some 24 today and so far I like it. It hits a bit hard for me even with my battery on the lowest setting, I think I will go with the 18 shortly.

I was curious though, is there a proper way to store your tanks when not using them and they have liquid in them? Like during charging or if u have an extra tank and atomizer. Can you just fill it and carry it around?
