Its not often something this big gets past me but I only just stumbled across e cigs today

I've spent a good part of today researching and this site has been so helpful, well done guys. The video reviews from 'the hat guy' (sorry can't remember your name :O) were really useful.

I've decided to try the classic e-cig, i'm a menthol ciggy smoker so will opt for the minty/menthol cartridges.

I'm really excited about trying this, i've tried just about everything on the market i'm sure but this sounds like it could be the product for me, so fingers crossed. I'm not expecting to give up right away, if even at all but hopefully in time I may just be tobbacco free :D

I intended to wean myself off gradually but it turned out to be a complete stop. I decided to use the e-cig during the day to see how I got on, but there were so little symptoms of withdrawal on the first day, I didn't light up a real cig. After three days I had no cravings at all for real tobacco. I'm still a nicotine addict, just one that doesn't smoke tobacco:)

I hope in a few months to gradually reduce the strength of the liquid I'm using and who knows, I might just stop altogether.

That's quite a long story... At first I hadn't discovered this forum and suckered myself into buying a Gamucci super-mini. This was expensive junk, it is not the same as everyone else's super-minis, expensive carts, difficult to refill, bad move. Tried it then gave up on e-cigs for a few weeks until I discovered the advice here

I then moved a generic 901, it was / is great, still use it. I have since got a black classic from e-cigs, excellent device, then a Janty Kissbox classic, expensive but different. Loads of vapour, less kick but more taste.

As you may gather I'm a bit of a gadget freak, you'll get lots of different advice here, my best bet would be to go with one of e-cigs 901 (mini). Get a spare battery and atomiser as well.

Thanx again Pete, it was the 901 I had my eye on. Won't be ordering for two weeks so its not set in stone yet.

When I saw ecigs for the first time yesterday, I was so sure I'd want one that most resembled a 'real' cig but have since decided that its probably not the best idea to go on looks, although I imagine i'll get a few different types eventually if I find they work for me (i'm gadgety myself :)).
