Welcome to ecf, and hang with us. It can be kinda intimidating for awhile as there is so much info here, but just take a deep breath, relax, and browse around for awhile, and soon things will begin to click. Good luck to ya.![]()
Welcome to ECF. That overwhelming feeling you are experiencing is not suprising. Most of us felt that same way when we started. There is just so much information on this forum and so many products and techniques for vaping. Just take your time, day by day, and it will all make sense soon. Good luck finding what works for you and don't be afraid to experiment. Also ask questions, that's what we're here for, to pay it forward to the next generation of vapers looking to improve their health or just get a nice satisfying nicotine fix.
@ddirtyvapes thanks for the tag.
So @jesusbuiltmyboxmod which part of India are you from? If you don't feel comfortable disclosing private info here you can always pm me. By now i know a few good vendors and suppliers for ejuice that ship all over India. Pm me if you'd like to know. Also feel free to ask any other questions as well, we're all learning here. Don't be hesitant. Happy vaping![]()
Welcome and glad you joined. Great decision and congratulations. Your purchase of a basic kit may allow you to learn from the bottom up with less later grief.Hey!!!
I've just quit smoking and been vaping for a couple of days. This is the first time i'm having a look at ecf, and woah it all seems so. overwhelming.
I've started with a basic ego style kit from a local vendor and some liquids from them, but they seem so bad. Hoping to continue vaping...
+1Just in case you didn't know @jesusbuiltmyboxmod , there are brands in India (just like America and the UK) that sell normal Chinese hardware/devices for double, triple or even more money.
They actively use special media companies who use techniques to create the impression of being the 'top brand' or '#1 rated' or lots of other things. They then bribe 'expert' members of the e-cigarette community (with commission) to make sure new people are confused and "buy from the right people"...
It's shameful and needs to stop. I know one particularly greedy Indian company that does this, so you have to be careful. Don't fall for this stuff.

Been there. Beginners tend to get scammed very easily because of the lack of awareness.
Btw which company are you talking about?
I'd have to search my history, which I'm not planning on doing (now), but they sell Joyetech hardware with their own badge and charge 250% the price. AIOs and eGo ONEs and things like that.
Typical BS stuff, as exemplified by the #1 rated US brand... (well, that's what they call themselves)...
At least V2 and Volcano actually sell some unique products unlike putting green O-rings in a $12 Subtank and charging $59.99.... all backed up by 'independent' review sites.
Wow. Isn't that illegal?
They can be sued and charged heavily for doing this. And I'm very curious to know now because I'm an Indian too. And I'd definitely tell people about this company in all the Indian vaping Communities i can.
Good to know you atleast tried.I'm not sure about the legality. It's obviously not illegal in America or the UK.
I did try to stop the way they work through legal channels... but it got out of hand. I don't like being threatened.
Maybe research what's on sale and play "spot the Joyetech" game.
Or in the case of America's self-proclaimed #1 brand... "spot the overpriced Kangertech product" game.
