Hello everyone im Bronagh and I come from Ireland. I am in need of help and advice although since I started to look around here some weeks ago and reading many posts I have learned something, even though im vaping 1 year and 3 months I know nothing at all, you might find that difficult to believe but its true. I just go to the store and buy what the store owner tells me what will satisfy me.
I will try to make a long story short, I started with Intellicig, it looks like a cigarette, I was satisfied with that for about 7 months until it started to have problems so I thought it was time I tried something different so I went to a newly opened ecig store where I was advised to buy eGo-CE4, its the one with a wick, I wasn't very happy with it so the store owner gave me cartomizer-clearomizer? called Ospire and Dekang ejuice BH Son 18mg, the ejuice was fine for a while but the last two bottles taste different, im getting a bitter taste so I thought I would change to a different brand and flavour. Im now vapeing a brand called Halcyon Haze, Sweet Prudence flavour, it seems easier on my throat and no bitter taste but im still feeling heady at times like I did with Dekang.Im not really into flavours but Sweet Prudence is very mild. Can any of you give me some advice and tell me where im going wrong.
I have lots more questions to ask but will ask in my next post.
Many thanks in advance and I look forward to your replies.

Bronagh.

First, welcome to the forum and happy to have you here. My daughter married an American Irishman, Gleeson is the name, so I'm partial to your country. One of my granddaughters is Abaigeal, which I understand is traditional Irish spelling of that name.:)

We have quite a few members here from Ireland and the UK who can probably respond better to your post than I can, since I only know what's available locally for me.

It sounds like you are being successful, even though maybe a little frustrated with what's available to you. I hope someone will post soon with some suggestions for you.

You are not going wrong. You are on the perfect E-liquid quest we all do. There are many great liquids. The majority are in the USA. I am not sure of your import restrictions or taxes. How about the UK? I have seen this UK one with favorable reviews. Home Page Of course you can always do it yourself (DIY). Here is a USA link for supplies. Electronic Cigarette, Clearomizer, USA e-Liquid, e-Cig Juice, DIY Flavors, Wholesale Nicotine, Empty Bottles for E-Liquid - ecigExpress

Send Guinness e-liquid. We have none here. Help!

Hi, Bronagh, and welcome! If you are feeling heady, I agree with others that there's a good chance the nicotine level is too high for you. I'm not clear on if you like the taste of the Dear Prudence e-liquid, but if you do, you can buy another bottle at 0% nicotine, and mix it half-and-half to get 9mg per ml instead of 18, or 2/3 from the original bottle and 1/3 of the 0% to get 12 mg nicotine... or to go even lower than 9, use 1/3 of the original plus 2/3 of the 0% for 6 mg of nicotine.

You don't have to mix up the whole two bottles -- you can just adjust tank-by-tank if you want, using some from each bottle. So if you are vaping a lot you can make your mix with less nicotine, and if you are going to be just taking a couple of hits every now and then, you can mix it for a higher strength.

Hi Tazzle, that is great info you have given me, I didn't think it was possible to mix like that. I have tried 12mg but didn't get a great hit at all and its the hit I need, could that be due to the ejuice brand im using. Many thanks.
Bronagh.

I have over 30 bottles of 12mg (from a dozen or more vendors). None of them have any throat hit at all.

24mg Hangsen does the trick... but I don't vape the strong stuff anymore.

If I want a big hit with lower nic' I'll up the power. 14 watts does the trick, just for a few puffs.

Hello again, this is Bronagh. I haven't had a chance to reply and thank you all for your replies of 26/3/2014. I found it difficult to look up my post introducing myself and questions, at last here I am again. Since talking to you all I had to go to Chemist to buy a tube of Daktarin oral gel because my mouth and tongue was very sore, my taste buds was affected also, I put it down to too much vapeing, im really not sure. I couldn't even taste my ejuice, I decided to go down from 18mg to 16mg and I changed to Joyetech ejuice, I think its Dekang ejuice. My sore mouth is slowly getter better, because it is so late here in Ireland I will leave my questions until tomorrow night, I just wanted to log in and find my

If you have been vaping for around a year we can pretty much rule out the usual problems people get when they quit smoking - like mouth ulcers. However, there is something called burning mouth syndrome that is a condition that has nothing to do with vaping. You need to see a Doctor for a diagnosis and appropriate treatment, if that's what is going on here. => Burning Mouth
