Hi guys!
So just to intruduce myself, my name is Jessica and I'm from Montreal, Canada. English is not my first language so I might sound funny sometimes.
Anyway, I bought a LT-v8 from loong totem, received it few days ago, and I dont really like it. There's not a lot of vapor at all, and the flavors (vanilla and tobacco) taste a bit weird, and it's worst if I make the vapor go trough my nose. So i tought about keeping that e-cig as a backup.

I ordered a Joye510 starter kit yesterday. I've read a lot of good comments on this board about it, especially about the big amount of vapor coming from it. It seems complicated to fill the cartridges, is there anything I should do/not do to maximise my new e-cig? Also, I order some liquid on the same web site I got my kit. Do I always have to order the liquid from that website or can I use a liquid from another compagny? I don't wanna break my new toy, and since I have no luck with anything electronic...:p Which flavors would you guys recommend? Also, I was wondering about the life battery... does it last long? Can I use it a complete day of heavy smoking without charging it? Or should I consider buying a PCC?

Thanks for your advices!

The 510 is a good manual battery PV (I hope you did get the manual batteries with the small button!!!). It's biggest drawback is the short battery life, 1-2 hours on a charge. Many members buy the PCC so they can recharge batteries through out the day while away from the house.

You can use any liquid with any PV. My favorite is Kent and RY4 from these reputable suppliers:

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! : Home
Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop
www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd

If you want long battery life and great throat hit and vapor from a PV, you need to get one of the preimere devices. They cost more initially, but the long life batteries only cost about $2 to replace which pays off in the long run. These get 5-8 hours on a charge.

The Big Seven in Long Battery Life Manual Switch PV’s:

Screwdriver: ecigscrewdriver.com
The Black Screwdriver Kit / Totally Wicked eLiquid / Electronic Cigarette eLiquid Store
Prodigy: PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!
GG: SmokeJuice - HOME
JantyStick: Janty USA
LV/ZiMoshi:Personal Vaporizers : Hardass Vapor Shop
Super T: Super T, Innovative manufacturer of Personal Vaporizer products.
AdapteverR: AdapteveR Home of the ORIGINAL USA built PV : Home

There are many opinions on the best way to fill your carts. One of the easiest and least expensive is to pull out the stuffing, put 8-10 drops in the cart and replace the stuffing.Iprefer to keep a 3ml dropper bottle with me and just top off the cart every 5 or 6 drags.Eventually the stuffing will need to be rinsed(warm water only)or replaced.Make sure there are no loose threads of stuffing sticking out or you will get the dreaded poly puff and that is just nasty.A trim with some sharp scissors and a nice moist atty should keep the vapor flowing. There is so much info on this forum that I have been reading for almost a month and can't keep up with all of it.The 510 is an awsome ecig and a good choice for a starter.

I agree. Also when you get into it more you should go for the PTB (pyramid tea bag) mod. I did today and man it's awesome. Oh and welcome.
