Hi, as you see, I am MizJackson. You may sing along with the song if you wish, everyone else does when they use that as my name.

I am anxiously awaiting my pink Riva, and am getting very antsy. I was hoping to not have to buy any more analogs, but the dang post office is getting in my way!

I am SO ready to get started, cleaned off all the nasties from my computer area last night, in hopes my Riva would come, but alas......:(.

It is soooo embarrassing to see the gunk that was on my monitor, and everywhere else.

So I am hoping it will be Monday! I already have plans for blinging up my Riva, and am already thinking about how to get Hello Kitty on the battery. I love Hello Kitty, and pink, so I think it is a perfect match!

I know there is going to be a lot of steps from where I am to where I will be, but anything is better than smoking. I have smoked for lots of years, and since I have been really stressed lately, my smoking has gone through the roof! I talk on the phone all day at work, and I hate that I sound like Harvey Firestein on the phone when I first start talking.

When I brought up the idea of vaping to my family, my son has been really supportive. I didn't realize how much he hated my smoking. It makes me sad that I didn't think to try this sooner.

But starting I am, and I hope that I will be amongst you all for a very, very long time.

(I know it doesn't sound like it, but I am almost 50! I wasn't nearly as girly when I was younger. Maybe I am entering my second childhood.:p)

You know, I have been on a lot of forums, but I don't believe that I have ever been welcomed so warmly before!

Bluemoonjo, I am in the SW corner of Missouri, close to where the tornadoes came through on May 22. We came through fine, we had friends that aren't so lucky tho..

I appreciate everyone's great comments on my choice of device. I studied Don's guides, and then I made my choice. I research the heck out of anything I start, so I did a lot of reading before making my choice. I am so glad I did.

For once, I am excited for Monday to come! I go back to work on Monday, but getting my kit in the mail will make it a little better. :)

Susett, I know that I found the idea I think on here. Basically, you can put a rhinestone on the end, and use jeweler's glue to hold it on. I know I have also heard talk that you can add charms...But I am not exactly sure how to do that. I did see some skins on the internet, but they weren't very cute...I am gonna figure it out tho!

Oh I missed it.. I thought about it when I bought a blinged out case for my cell lol. And I never noticed pif forum but im going to look for that next (thanks salemgold). I did have some random thoughts on hanging a charm on the 510 atomizer (being smaller than the ego tank) also some thoughts on small stencil possibly filled with stones or beads or something .. i do wish I was more creative lol .. anyway main thing is to be off the analog and enjoy the riva.. hoping mine is in monday also, but probably tuesday Im guessing.

Welcome to ECF MizJackson, good luck with the Riva, it is a great PV, I have the same thing in the eGo, and a Provari for longer battery life, and the Reo and Ali'i for botom juice feeding. But the Riva will serve you well, if yo need any help, there is a thread of people from Missouri called Show Me vapers, all great people to know and they will all help if you need it.

Thanks again for all the great welcomes!

Susett, I found a forum topic, Cosmetic Mods. Wow! Lots of great stuff there! Being the shopping fiend I am, looks like today I may be spending my day at the craft stores, and beauty supply stores. You might do a search for Waterslide decals. There are some darling ones on ebay, but of course, I may try to look around here first for them. What a tragedy, I have to go shopping...:p

Good for you, Miz Jackson. I have been using my Riva510 daily since early December. This device was (and still is) a durable, long lasting, nice looking personal vaporizer. I have 4 batteries that I rotate through on a weekly basis. At any given time I have 3-4 atomizers that I rotate through. I have never had a battery or sudden atomizer failure, so I give the Riva a thumbs up. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I have little doubt that the Riva keeps me smoke free.

As far as placing a jewel on the end of the battery, you may want to wait until you have used the Riva510 for a bit. You may find that the flat end is handy for standing your personal vaporizer up when it's not in use. Just a thought. I have seen Rivas and their cousins, the Egos, decorated in all manner of ways. Some of the embellishments have been down right artistic. Regardless of what bling you choose, the PV itself should perform very nicely for you.

Good luck! :)
