Hello my friends,

I am new around here and just wanted to pop in and say hi. I have been a smoke for about 20 years (i know right ug) and i want to quit but i so love that nicotine. Man i have done it all the gum, patch, hypnosis, pills, inhaler, etc. Over the years i even managed to quit for varying times but i keep coming back.

So now we have this vaping thing so im game ya know lol Sadly i dont even know enough to know what questions to ask. Heres the little i have figured out so far. In my research i have checked out a lot of e-cigs and the two that looked interesting are the Blu e-cig and the V2. Sadly. here in Nashville the only place i have found anything locally is Walgreens (they carry the Blu puff and toss). I picked up one and and was not majorly impressed. Was not that i did not enjoy it persay but i am a upward ta two packs a day smoker menthol full flavor 100's. Now from what i have been told/read the Blu one i got is 24mg of nic. Seems a bit lite to me on top of that there menthol does not taste remotely like menthol. had a vanilla taste with perhaps chocolate undertones.

Over all i am thinking what i need is a larger rig. This is what my hot list is i want lots of smoke(vapor i guess) good throat hit, nice selection of flavors. Besides cigs i also smoke a hookah so i am used to strong rich flavors. like i said i am new to all this so i dont really know what i dont know. i looked at a few of the larger rigs but trying to figure it all out is confusing.

i am open to any advice or sites you think i should vist.

thanks for allowing me to join you guys here.

Welcome JerryB,
Glad you found us before spending a fortune on crappy stuff that does not do the job.

I might suggest (as I was upward of 2 packs a day myself) to start with something like an eGo or a Riva.
both can be found here
E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings
before you start shopping and after you register(if you find something you would like to purchase) be sure to click on the 20% discount link on top part of their page..they sell complete kits so be sure to scroll the page...main menu on left....
And no association with Liberty-Flights other than they are a great company and I am a consumer just like you.
And for juices you might want to look into freedomsmokeusa...
They have great stuff . All usa made ejuices....no association there either..
I can tell you I have spent lots of $ trying to find the right stuff....if only I had come here first..lol

I am sure there will be many others coming along with great deals to tell you about also...
Feel free to ask questions..

Thanks for the welcome. TinyBells hey man i dont care if the thing looks like a fishtank as long as it works lol Looking around i have seen some pretty cool looking boxy things. So i am not vaping this to look good (that is so a lost cause), i just want function.

I hear a lot of people like the ego lines and i am checking them out but i was also looking at these;
Prodigy V3
Joye eGo
Volcano (Inferno)
Revoution V2.1

Still looking to see what looks good. anyone have suggestions. What would you see as the best overall system. Um not as in model but delivery perhaps Tank, Drip, Cart, cartimizer which seem to work the best or at least the more popular.

An eGo is only 3.2 volts. The much better option but in the same category is the E-Power 510 or the Riva UNC. Both are true 3.7 volt models. The E-Power however has batteries that only cost $4 - $5 whereas the eGo batteries cost $14 - $20. Plus the E-Power's batteries will last 4 times longer:

e-Power

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva UNC

But if you want even better throat hit and warmer vapor, then I would suggest getting a good 5 volt or variable volt modes such as the 5 volt GLV2 or the variable volt Darwin.

Thanks for the advice. Ok still researching here and something i find i gotta get hold of is some sort of vaping dictionary. Anyone have a link to one? i am confused by things like low and high resistance atomizers, double coil carts etc. as it stands right now i am really liking the Revoution V2.1 but still looking.

On another note, what vaping liquid do you guys gives the best flavors? (i like a wide variety of taste) i tend toward strong flavors, after 20+ years of analog my taste buds cant get into light flavors lol
