Hi everybody!
I have been vaping a couple of months. I was a heavy smoker for 16 years. I was actually able to quit "cold-turkey" a few years ago. Going through some hard times and the urge to smoke was even worse then when I initially quit.
I even went into a smoke shop and asked if they had any non nicotine herbal cigarettes. Luckily, they didn't. I decided to try vaping, and have been loving it (except those days when nothing seems to work right).
looking forward to being a member here.
George

Welcome, what setup(s) are you using?

I started with a couple eGo Twists with cartos on top. Bumped it up to the CVI Anyvape and some mini Vivi Novas.
Just Saturday, I received an AGA T with a stainless mechanical mod called the iSeason. The fit and finish seems very nice for 60 bucks, but I think something may be slightly off. I was getting subpar performance and just chalked it up to my "noob" coil wrapping skills, but when I run it on my VV at 3.7v it works fine. A little stumped.

Do you have a multimeter to check the voltage output of the iSeason? I would see what voltage it is putting out when you have the button pressed and check the battery by itself. It sounds like maybe the button isn't making a good connection with the post. Also, what ohms is the coil you wrapped?

I think I do have a meter somewhere. Would I test it by firing the mod with one lead on the connection and the other on the body? This voltage should match the voltage the battery is currently putting out?
The mod does have brass switch contacts as well as the positive battery contact. The coil is about 1.4 ohms.

Yes, I usually put a clip on the outer part of the 510 connection, then put the positive on the center post in the bottom of the 510 connector and it should read the same as the battery by itself. It it doesn't, then I would say you have a problem with your contacts like DJ said. If that is the case, I would give them a light sanding to see if that helps. Otherwise it might need adjusted a little. In that case, you would back out the brass internal contact that is screwed into the button and see if that helps.
