Hi everybody, finally decided to tell you my story, first of all ECF is really great and I like the atmosphere you have here

When I found out about vaping like two month ago I got vamo v5 some cartomizer (I think it was vivi nova) and a kayfun clone from local cape shop. But everything went wrong (I guess I wasn't ready for that setup) vivi nova first vaped okeish but two other could tasted burnt, kayfun was leaking out of everywhere even though I built it right. So I dumped my gear to my friend and went back to cigs.... and reading (sorry for that)

About a month ago I got provari starter kit, another kayfun clone from FT and it was a win, kayfun not leaking at all!! vaping at 1.5ohm and 4.8 volts already a month without cigs and I'm not going to go back to them!
Also i got astro and gp paps mech mods plus couple rdas veritas, magma and plume veil.
But no juice. I have nothing to vape at the moment just some russian crappy juice...(can't vape dekang also)
Idk but I think there is like no vapable juices here at all. When I got a provari I also got some Hawk and Cinnamon from mt baker vapor (I know that they aren't that good) but considering what we have here Its really good. I went through 60ml of hawk and 30 mils of cinnamon roll in 3 weeks (the caramel candy sample from mbv is unvapable to me just socks ) Now sitting and waiting for like 500 ml from ITC lol....
My second order for e juice is from nicoticket but its not gonna be here for another month I think.... But anyway it isn't bad cause it needs steeping.

Got some questions
I think buying a provari was a bad idea. Its really outdated. Even though It works great with kayfun should I sell it? It goes for 150-200 bucks here.
Though I don't like box looking mods. I just want something like provari at 50w

Second question If i'm keeping my provari is there a better rta for it out there? Rose v2?

Keep provari for the memory?

What you can tell me about 5 pawns should I wait and vape some "simple" juices for now? Cause I heart that beginners can't get all the fuss from 5P juices.

Hello and Welcome Tim! If the Provari isn't working for ya sell it. You should be able to recoup most of your money and buy yourself something that provides you the 50 watts you're looking for. I like some of MBV juice and the two you mentioned are their more popular one's. I believe the Kayfun is one of the best RBA's for the Provari, it's the only one I've ever heard mentioned for it. It or the Tayfun, Taifun , or however it's spelled. I've heard really good things about 5 Pawns but haven't tried it for myself. Good luck and hope to see you around the forums!

Nothing wrong with a Provari, it's well built, and as reliable as they come.

Sucks about the limited juice availability in Rus...I blame Putin.

You could not do any better than matching up a KayFun with a ProVari. That's a very good working combo.

I guess I will keep my provari then. Working great now. But I am always want more lol. Will stick with rda's at home and office and provari with kayfun "to go" . I got taifun for my friend and his vamo It will arrive tomorrow gonna try it out also.

I don't have a Provari, but I've only heard good things about them.

I do have a Kayfun Lite Plus, a Magma and a Plume Veil, with a Veritas due to arrive in my mail tomorrow. The Kayfun, Magma and Plume are three of my favorite RDAs/RTAs, and I have a lot of RDAs/RBAs. Good choices.

As far as mods go, I only have an MVP 2.0 and a Vamo 5 for regulated, so I can't help with what's best for those. All my other mods are mech mods.

I hope the juice situation gets better in Moscow, it must be very expensive ordering it from overseas.

Lucky you... you're not going to get yelled at for being new, and talking about wanting a provari at higher wattages than 20..

I have all those drippers..I don't know about the paps or astro clone.

What I do know...It sounds like you have no choice to mix your own liquid. It is super simple..start around 5% total flavoring with new flavors, but most I've used, I stick around 10% total flavoring..But you don't even have to add flavoring. VG is fine all by itself..

For the mvp 2, I used carto tanks.. mainly smok tech(from smoktek.com) 2 Ohm cartomizers. Clearomizers like protanks work great too...but it sounds like you're already done with that phase of vaping...

Feel free to PM me...unfortunately, this is a bad time to look into buying a regulated mod..cuz all the new boxes are about to come out. I think you'll be ok with your mechs until then. Come join the fun in:
