If you like 'em small, the eGo's a really good choice, though with small size comes small batteries and less vaping between charges or battery swaps. My fiancee loves the Twist because she can fine-tune it for different juices, and it's easy to carry around.

Me, I like 'em big and fat and long, and I don't care who knows it.

Good to see another vaper in the neighborhood.

like imtrick said, i'd suggest provari mini with a carto/tank. lil mama or ibtanked tanks are awesome. i can't comment on other tanks since i only own those two. i'm sure the members here will suggest others as well.

it really does depend on your budget, but with that setup, it should last a full day (unless you're vaping non-stop...).

i'm from the bay area too. welcome to ecf forums!

Yo Fishermansf. Welcome aboard. I'm from your neck of the woods.

As nice as they are, you don't need to spend big bucks for a glamorous APV like a Provari. I quit with an inexpensive APV: E-Power 14650 which I have been using every day without fail since November of 2011.

If you have a decent eGo, it should be more than what you need to do the job.

Should add: the advantage of the E-Power 14650 beside low cost and durability:

1. 1050 mAh 14650 ICR removable battery. Rule of thumb: one hour of vaping time for every 100 mAh of the battery.
2. Uses anything with 510. An adaptor ring for eGo threading is available if wanted.
3. Pocket sized, even with a XL carto (as shown).
4. Capable of up to 8 watts of power.

I haven't used any of the 14650 mods myself, but if you're looking for something with a bit more capacity than an eGo without the bulk of something like a Provari Mini, that'd be a logical step up.

I've been playing with an eVic lately modified to use an 18630 battery and it's small, but pretty fat.

Those ego erolls are pretty nice for small e-cigs. You'll be using the PCC case a lot to recharge them though. If you want something small/stylish and will last you several hours you need a pcc. I lived in SF and Mill Valley/Marin county for several years BTW. Beautiful area. Welcome to the forum.

Personally I've been switching between volt standard e-cigs and a larger Vision Spinner with Vivi Nova tanks at home. I wouldn't take the Vision Spinner out and about but have three volt batteries I keep about and take out with me on the go. No small e-cig battery is going to last you more than a couple of hours if you're vaping a decent amount so you might look into getting a few small batteries and a pcc case to go with them.

Too large and cumbersome. Just much easier to stick the small analog style batteries in my pocket. I went to a college a few days ago to do testing and it would be strange to have it in that environment. My pockets are also already full as it is with ipods, cell phones etc. Just much easier to stick a few batteries and cartomizers in my pocket.

I would suggest the Provari mini because that's what stopped me from buying new mods (it's that good) but that may be to big for you. If it is I think your best bet is what you already have. A lot of people love the Ego's. Happy vaping.

Right on the money.... Provari mini!
