Got my start with njoy & the Blu disposable. Friend turned me onto a local shop and have moved up to Revolution Vapor's 808. Have used Revolution's and V2's pre-filled cartomizers. Like Revolution's menthol tobacco and caramel tobacco. Also V2's menthol. Have ordered MagicMist's "V2 Menthol." Thinking of trying Vokcano and Halo carts.
The two shops in Wilmington cater to different types. ElectraVapor caters to beginners and 808 users, Vape Hut caters to 501 and advanced users. Both have their place. Both are also hard to find. I think Vape Hut is about to get an actual sign on the building and seemed to be moving to Vape only as I didn't see a single computer in the place and it's supposed to be a computer repair shop.
Besides jumping to the Lea and mods, any other advice for newbie?

Is Lea compatible with anything besides itself? I would recommend something with 510 threading if you want a mod.
Definitely try Bloogplanet/SmokelessImage/Halocigs G6 cartos for the KR8 - they are nice horizontal coil cartos with nice absorbent stuffing, around 2.6 ohm. I am using one right now. I also use Vapor4Life WOW carto (with a delrin drip tip as mouthpiece so I don't burn my lips - they can be hot). And if your KR8 batteries have a 5-second cutoff and you want longer drags, try Vapor4Life manauls (V4L for their custom 10-13 second cutoff as noted in the comment of the single logo ones I buy there, manual because manuals are harder to damage or kill with juice leaks and make it much easier to get a good hit)

Re 510 threading - I use little 510 manuals w/ Boge cartos, Riva 510 kit from Liberty-Flights.com (very cheap if you have pressed the 20% off and real 3.7v for the kits they have because their kits are all new-stock Eastmall-made), 3-stage (3 voltage) Ego (clone) battery from Gotvapes, plastic 3.7v box mods including a bottomfeeder (from ECF Buying & Selling... The Lea is a 510 thread. It is compatible with anything that the Ego is compatible with . There are two differences between the Lea and Ego. The Lea comes standard with a pass thru function and can be smoked while charging and also has battery life indicator lighting. They are both great products but the Lea has a few more functions.
There are e-cig stores in Wilmington?! I'm about 45 minutes from Wilmington, I might need to take a little trip.
I live near the Wilmington area. I have been meaning to give the Vape Hut a visit but have not made it there yet. First I have heard of ElectraVapor. I have been getting my juice at ivape in Long SC. I am just getting into vaping. Good to see there are other vapers in the area on ECF.
There 2 but both have ok juice at the best. Vapehut has alot of over seas made juice. The other one in town has post to be USA made juice bit haven't been happy with any I have used. Where are you at that's 45 min away?
I have try any our Ivape stuff. Kind of waiting for the MB shop to open up. The vape hut offer a lot of good stuff and the new store Evapor while I haven't been there my self I have used a few juices from the shop. The vape hut is ok to pretty good store. I have sent a few people to get ego lots from them and I pick up a atty here and there from them. The owner is a very nice lady but doesn't look into anything past starter kits. And the main sell guy look at me odd and was asking a lot of questions about my provari with a big daddy tank on it. This kind of turn me off from the place. They know what they have and that's about it. Last time I stop by and talk to the owner about getter some DC cartos. She still hasn't gotten them in. But I am going to try to get a Wilmington Nc vape meet up going
Welcome to the ECF, tpfilm1994! I spent two years in Wilmington attending UNC-W. I loved living there, and return every now and then to visit my college roommate.
It's cool you have ecig vendors so close to you. We don't have many here in MD; at least not many who openly advertise.

So far the juices I have ordered from ivape have been great. I have ordered a few juices from other vendors but really did not care much for them but I am new at vaping and from what I have read tastes change with time.
yeah i know my taste change a lot..i was on a menthol kick for the longest time now most my every day juice dont even have menthol in them lol. ugh i need some stainless steel cartos really bad..i put in a order and they haven't come yet and dont think anyone in wilmington has them :\
So stop by Electra Vapor today I showed up with my provari and bid daddy tank on it. The one guy who was helping a new guy to the ecig sceen dismiss my setup saying it was cheap stuff while he show off his carto tank from madvapes. I pick up 5 Stainless steel cartos for 20 bucks. Over price from hell but trying to have a store I understand you need some mark up. Juice was post to be USA made juice but the types and bottles seem to be over seas made. And didn't have anything over 15ml. While starter kits where not bad but I had people asking me where to order juice and mods from b4 I left the store. Over all I was underwhelm by the people there and lack of looking outside of what they sell. I would love to support them and send people there but don't think I can.
Sending 2 people your way today to get starter kits. While i was little underwhelm from what i saw the first time in the shop you guys are local and have a easy store to find and good starter kits with pretty good prices on them.

While the store may not have everything for everyone, it is a great place for those just starting out. The simple fact is that the info and choices online are VERY overwhelming to someone just starting out. The store is a HUGE improvement over the NJoys that are sold at the local Kangaroo convenience stores: $20 for starter kit that's one batt, 2 cartos of either tobacco or menthol and a USB charger; $20 for 5 filled cartos, again, only tobacco or menthol. Being able to actually hold the product in your hand and try it, try flavors... can't get that through ECF.
The store carries Revolution Vapor's juices. Those are made in US. The bottles they come in? Yeah, prob made in China. Heck, I'll bet even the most highly praised, organic juice everyone raves about here uses bottles prob made in China.
Besides, not everybody has a gas mask with the air purifier modded to hold 20 gallons of juice connected to a DieHard tractor battery. Some of us just want a true cigarette like vaper and feel.
(BTW I do NOT work for the store, nor do I have any financial interest in the store - well, I give them my money... - I'm just a very satisfied customer.)

Ivape.net just opened up a retail store not to far from there. Wish i was near there i been ordering from him for years. Hes got a grand opening on the 5th so jealous, wish I could be there. Maybe i can convince the guy to send me one of the free shirts hes giving out to people who go that day. Wouldn't that be something ^_^
