Hi guys..I started vaping a couple weeks ago and its the easiest time ive had trying to kick my pack a day habit.
I had tried ecigs about 2 years ago with the small battery v2 and got discouraged quite quickly. The battery died and I would end up smoking. Had to order cartos through the mail and I never got a satisfactory vapor from it. Now there are so many options near me its incredible. There are at least a dozen vapor shops within 20 miles. I picked up 2 c-twist 1000mahh and its been great. I went from 1 pack a day to about 2-3 a day. I found this forum a few days ago and its a treasure trove of information. Anyway thats my story so far...going to try kicking the 2-3 a day shouldnt be a problem I hope, wish me luck!!!

Thanx yellowsnow. Ive already noticed my sense of smell and taste improving!! Finally convinced my wife to quit 2 days ago. I couldnt stand the smell on her after she smoked. Its really incredible. I switched off the cigarette flavored juices right away. I found they didnt really taste right and just made me want to smoke a real one. Sticking to the fruity flavors has really helped.

Hey, head on over to the library, read the stickies TONS of great information and has an excellent 6 part writeup on vaping starting from the cigalikes up to the advanced stuff.

Many people have fallen into the "money pit" chasing the perfect vape, with the information in the library it helps you make an educated decision on where you would like to go in the vaping world and buy the right rig for what you want to do.

It took me two weeks of slips and burning an analog until I "left the pack at home" ever since then haven't touched one since, my wife on the other hand...has scaled WAY back but still smokes analogs, different for everyone

The ECF Library

Welcome and Vape On!!!

Thanks WarHawk for the link to the ecf library. Havnt been there yet. I was off work for 2 days and it was no problem not smoking analogs. I have to work in a few hours and I think I will leave the pack at home for the first time. Im really enjoying being able to vape in the house. Especially since its getting colder round here.

freeatlast! I can definitely see the money pit senario. I tend to geek out with new hobbies and this one looks like there are limitless options to do that. I was spending about 35 a week on analogs and they were not nearly as much fun as this.

Random1 A big WELCOME to you! You've found a lot of friends here that will be glad to help you in any way we can.

You've made a great start on you own... well done, well done!

Seems to me the LUCK you're looking for is the wonderful
common sense you have chosen to use on your own.
I am impressed and my heart goes out to you in any and every way possible.
What a major and GREAT choice you have made.

I was also thinking about buying my dad and brother an ecig for christmas. I was thinking the c-twist like I have but I would appreciate any suggestions.
What I'd get a beginner: twist/spinner/VV battery & charger, Kanger Mini Protank with a couple of extra heads, and some juice flavors they might like.

Thanks for the support cmdebrecht and bradley802. I've tried to quit at least a dozen times and is never been this easy!! @madqatter That's exactly what I was thinking. Is good to have some confirmation. I tossed the crappy tanks that came with my kit on day 3 and bought the kanger protank mini. I love it! It's easier to use and less problems with leakage and gurgling.
