Hi John. There are good reasonably price ecigs. And there are rip-off vendors galore too - a whole seedy upper crust of ecig sellers. A hint - if a vendor does not sell blank carts and
juice or if they charge more than $20 for a battery, walk away. Another sign of ripoff vendors - they lie about how long a cartridge or cartomizer lasts. Standard carts and cartos do not last as long as a pack of cigs.
The most common starting units here are
Joye 510 (has 2-3 hour
batteries or you can get the mega xl longer lasting batteries which last as long as standard KR808D-1 batteries or about 3-5 hours, hours less with heavy vapingl)
KR808D-1 (a 2-piece also sold by Vapor4Life)
PCC cases are available.

Or for heavy smokers, hard draggers, and those who want 6-8+ hours battery charge, skip to Ego or Riva 510 or other fat-battery model
And most of us use manual batteries - more sealed against juice drips, less work, more control over your drag, won't turn on accidentally in wind or vibration
