Just a little note. I've just come back from Korea and was surprised to discover that ECigs are on the list of dangerous and banned items for flights there. I saw it on the bottom right hand corner of a laminated list at the check in desk for my airlines. I believe it was in the "Miscellaneous Items" category, or some such. However, when they found it at baggage inspection they only asked me to confirm it was an ECig, had a little chat among themselves, and let me go on my way. I'm not sure if I was lucky or what.
Perhaps it is worth considering separating components so that you present only battery packs and unfilled tanks, as opposed to a recognizable ECig . Just a thought. Good luck on your travels. Korea is beautiful.
