Hello everyone nice to meet you! I just recently started vaping! I just got my first real(??) e-cig. I got the Joye eGo starter kit from Altsmoke and I am enjoying it very much!

I do have a question:
These carts that come with the eGo seem either to have a very small capacity for juice or maybe I am doing it wrong.
I opened up the end of the cart and dripped juice in until the element was pretty filled, waited for it to settle then topped it off. I made sure to prime the Atomizer by blowing/sucking a bit so I believe it is set up correctly.

I tried to find more information on seperate carts/atomizers but couldnt really find much unless its buried deep.
I just seems that I have to add more juice about every hour or so is this normal?

I am already concidering switching to a much larger tip....even the cartomizers on the e-cig I had before the eGo seems to hold more. Any Suggestions or Advice? Thank You!

I'm not a fan of those atomizer head tank cartridge devices. They are rather "old school", and there are easier and better delivery devices now. Perhaps someone more familiar with those you have can provide you with some advice.

For ideas on what else you can put on your eGo batteries, take a look at this picture dictionary that shows the more common, modern devices:

I'd personally recommend getting some empty cartomizers or clearomizers, or a mini vivi nova tank to use. You can easily find You Tube videos that provide demo's on how to fill and use each device.

That’s what my first kit came with. You’re right they barely hold any liquid, but I still use the cartridges to try out new flavors. With an eGo, you can use any 510 device – cartomizers, clearomizers, Kangers, vivi novas, carto tanks, you name it. Looking at Baditude's blog is a good place to start.

Thanks for the link! I am thinking about getting some of the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers or Vision Clearomizer V3 when I get paid this week.

Those are another option. I've used both. I did like the the mega cartomizers, although I wish they were available in a single coil instead of the dual coil (those can drain you battery a little faster than a single coil will). They hold a lot of e-liquid, but they will perform better if you "top" them off frequently, so carry your bottle of juice with you.

love alt smoke. If you are going with a DCT you will need a veritable voltage to amp up the throat hit. Hope your ego is a twist. I love vaping and use ego products as much as I can.
If your on a tight budget I found ivape.com has the lowest prices on clearomizors and catros. Alt smoke has the best battey prices, but that's just me

Right now I only have the basic eGo, but I plan to get the twist(2 most likely)
I am thinking of getting the Vision Clearomizer - Version 3....
These seem to be single coil so they should be ok correct? (for my non twist)
I would like to get these to try out but I'll also be getting the Smok Tech - SC - Black Cartomizers XL that Baditude recommended

its all a personal choice of what you like. in my experience a signal coil atty works well with a 3.7V ego battery. I have a ego vic unit and when using a single coil unit I keep it at about 4V.With a duel coil I boost it to around 4.7V.Upgrading to a variable voltage battery is not something you will regret when you can afford it.I found altsmoke has the best prices on the twists with the most color choices.

So a small update today:

First day with no cigs at all! I had one yesterday morning right before work and one the day before at the same time. I got my larger cartomizers with a lower resistance today and also got a bottle of RY4 and 555.

I REALLY love the RY4, but the 555 tastes almost the same as the MLB to me but it's not bad.

I am definitely happy with my setup for now but I am still planning on getting the eGo twist eventually.

My wife is a smoker and I think she is starting to like the idea of vaping so soon she may be joining as well! I think the RY4 might be able to convince her!!

I just wanted to add that I also got a couple drip tips to go on the ends of my carts....much easier to fill now just pop it off drip a couple of drops and good to go!!! This bottle of RY4 isnt going to last though lmao!

your first day without cigarettes is no small update, Its something to be remembered. I made the switch months before my girl did but now she vapes. She loves the ry4 too. I found out I dont like the tobacco taste so i use peppermint. The best selling point to her was not having to spend $10 a day on her way to work.
Going on 2 years smoke free here.
I know it seams like a lot of money to buy juice but its nothing compared to a $10 a day cig addiction. The average price for a 30ml bottle is $13. your just starting out and finding out what you like

I can mix up a 30ml bottle in about 5min for under $4...... but that's a few months off for you,

congrats

Hey I am back today with another update today!

One full week now without a cig! And most of it has been snowed in from the blizzard. We got 28 inches of snow!
We had to go out the front door and shovel all the way around the driveway into the back of the house because the snow drifts were so high the back doors couldn't open at all. We had to wait over 3 days for out plow guy to get here and do the driveway and the street is still barely plowed but it driveable. He had to use a huge payloader to do the driveway instead of a pickup with a plow!

BUT in the course of boredom during the storm I ended up ordering some new stuff AND my wife has decided to try vaping instead of cigs. She is on her 2nd day today, and is doing pretty good!

I ended up getting 2 black 650 ego twist for me and a blue 650 twist for her and a charger. I also got some Vision Clearomizers V3 for myself and I am loving it on this twist! Also got a couple more bottles of RY4 cuz she liked the smell of it so much(me too) I knew we would be using that flavor to start on.

I have only tried the Altsmoke RY4 any recommendations?

Anyways I just also want to say that at this 1 week mark, I haven't really craved an analog at all and I am starting to feel free from them! This forum is great and I am really happy that I found it, it has TONS of information to help out the newbie like myself and you guys are all very helpful as well!
