Hello everyone, I'm new to this community and recently I've been trying to quit smoking. I hear vaping helps but it's illegal in my country so I'll have to find some other way of procuring the equipment. Anybody else in a situation like mine?
Thanks Tonee, I live in Singapore. I've been smoking for a little over 2 years now, it started when I was enlisting in the army. You know what they say, when you're in the army you have so much free time that you start picking up habits. Analog cigarettes are expensive here too, almost 10USD for a pack.

Singapore originally banned the distribution, sale and import of e-cigarettes in 2010, under a law outlawing products “designed to resemble a tobacco product,” with a fine of up to $5,000 for breaking the law. The government has also announced that it will be banning many other emerging tobacco products from December 2015 – with e-liquid specifically described in the legislation – to protect against the “known and potential harms” they pose. Clive Bates and Gerry Stimson wrote a letter to the government explaining why this is ridiculous, given the continued availability of cigarettes

I started vaping 18mg/Ml nic and now at zero nic with no chemical dependency, now, just a pleasant hobby and pastime.
You too can quit.
Yes, the law was updated back in Dec 2015 to ban possession, use, import, sale and offer to sale. It's pretty thorough.
To add on, this includes any individual component of the vaporizer as well as juice. Even if the juice is 0% nicotine. Here's a news article about it Singapore to ban emerging tobacco products from mid-December

Wow, that's terrible, looks like no gum or patches or anything. I don't think there are many people here that would recommend something that could get you in trouble (myself included). I'm sorry, but if I was in that situation I guess I'd chew my cigarettes . I hope something changes soon.
