Hello I've been vamping for about a month and I have learned a lot and upgraded a bit since my first hdvape starter kit I have an evod single coil and a mini protank 3 and a mini nautilus witch is the best tank I have tried to date it came with the bvc I currently have a clk1280 as a power source and I'm just starting to get into dripping bought a itaste vf rda a couple weeks ago and I finally was able to build a proper coil wick combo that works my question is what do I need to power my rda a mech mod a box mod battery's in mech are only 4.2v ? My clk goes to 5v so died that mean the mech will just last longer because it has double mah I'm confused

A mech gives you whatever power the battery is putting out, minus the voltage drop which is usually minimal. The advantages of mech mods are that they're usually fairly indestructible and since they don't have regulated circuitry you can use coils that would be too low resistance to fire on something else. It all depends on what kind of coils you'll be using. If you're going to stick in the 1.2ohm or above range, a regulated battery will do just fine. If you want to go lower you should consider a mech, or one of the higher wattage mods like a dna 30.

If you go the mech route, make sure you do your homework and learn about battery safety.

I would like to have the ability to power a double coil setup in my rda if I add another the same size of the one I have now that will cut the resistance in half to .6-1 (guessing my current coil is 1.2ish - 2. Am I right on this ?

I am happy with the performance of the mini nautilus on the clk it will last a whole day and almost all night if you stay up at a party but it only last about half a day using the rda on 5 volts

Yes, if you put two equal resistances in parallel, the result will be a halving of the individual resistance value.
