Welcome mhoward! What model are you using now and what have you tried?

I had a Blu, and I disliked it for both of those reasons.

I now have a Joye 510. The batteries last a couple hours (not great, 1-2 hours), but the vapor is amazing. I ordered another STEP UP (it's on its way to me now.. should be delivered in 2-3 hours!!!), and it's a riva 510 -- which is an ego-style (also known as fat batts or big batts). The batteries will last MUCH longer (6-12 hours is what I hear from some folks) but still using the 510 atomizer that I love so much for its vapor.

I'm sure folks will step in and give you lots of suggestions. Just try to answer their questions -- every person is different, and every e-cig is different, so let them help you find a good match.

Good luck in your journey, and I'm glad you made it here!!

Thank you for the warm welcome Adeline.
I am using a Totally Wicked Titan 510 E-cigg. It seems to be working fine. It does have a short battery life like 1-2 hours. I have a few of them, and change them out, when the other is recharging.

You said, you loved the 510 atomizer for the vapor. Do you mean you get more vapor from it, as opposed to another type of atomizer?

I also have a Riva 510, puts out lots of vapor and the battery life is great 6-8 hours on a heavy vaping day. Liberty_Flights.com has them on sale currently for $30.00. Price is hard to beat for a nice starter set. I did invest in cartomizers also as I like the convenience of having an atty and cartridge in one. One cartomizer lasts me at least a couple of hours before I have to refill, and they can be refilled many times before they are no good any more. I have had ones last 5 weeks before they needed to be replaced.

It definitely puts out more vapor than a super-mini (like a Blu or something really small). I don't really play around with atomizers, so I have little to compare it to. As far as mini e-cigs go, it's one of the best. I haven't tried 901s or anything from the 808 line, so take it as a grain of salt.

VG will add to your vapor output. I find my 50/50 pg/vg mixes give an AWESOME amount of vapor, while dulling the flavor a tad. Also, cleaning out my atomizer helps it produce more vapor. And hopefully in a couple hours, I'll be able to tell you that a bigger battery model (ego or riva or inferno, you know, THAT style) will up my vapor even MORE.

What kind of Titan is it? Titan 510?

And this is the part where someone with experience across models compares the different types of atties for you.

But a clean atty and more VG in my juice makes SO much of a difference in my vapor production.

I would recommend the Buzz which you can adjust the voltage level on and cartomizers from Ikenvape as there are no better. As my signature says "it's vaping at it's best" I have a shelf full of PVs and Mods I don't use any longer since I got the Buzz from notcig. Just go to the notcig forum here on ECF and read the Buzz threads. Notcigs I blew Smoking Everywhere at the mall kiosk away with all the vapor I blew out there. The guy in the next kiosk says whoa, what is that?

Check it out. I am also a relatively new vapor and am using a Joye 510 with a pcc. Since I have two batts that I rotate I can vape all day at work and use my Passthru at home. Now, with this said, I was looking into buying either Mega or Ego, but now I got all kinds of gear that wont really fit it. I just ordered a mod box kit from MadVapes and those you can get with a 900 mAh batt. which is just like the Ego. Looking back I shoulda just built my own (OMG SUPER EASY! Look on youtube for Making an 18650 pesonal vaporizer box mod). Learn from someone who has spent well over 300.00 in about 2 months of vaping. Research, research, research. Good Luck..

Oh man, did you order from Liberty Flights? If so, you missed the 20% off link on the top of the page :( With that discount they are 29.99. Maybe you can talk to the guys from L-F -- email or call. OR they have a forum here: Liberty Flights

I got my Riva yesterday -- man it's good. I'm still tinkering around with it. I got an Ego passthru for my computer, and it is so sleek. Basically I've been so happy with it, I haven't been on the forum much! I used one battery all night and this morning and switched to my passthru even before the battery went dead. It's good stuff.

The vapor production is pretty sweet, and I'm getting a bit more throat hit now! :D I do find that the difference in level of VG in my juice still makes a big difference -- huge clouds of vapor with a 50/50 concentration.

My big issue is that I got a pink Riva, and the only drip tip that works with the cone is red. Not terrible.. but not so pretty. I'm going to be ordering a new cone to match my PT (steel), and new drip tips soon.

I too got it as a Christmas present to myself. And I'm pretty sure my Joye 510 is going to make itself into the hands of some smoker soon.. My sister is deployed to Afghanistan, so I think she deserves a Riva too!

Good luck with yours, let me know how you like it!!!

I strted out with a Lucky Slicks (510 clone) with the 510 attys. But I got so tired of changing batteries and refilling the carts (hard to do while driving - at least safely). So I bought the Joye eGo Mega (900 mah battery) with the mega atty and cart. Now I get plenty of vapor; a battery that lasts all day; a cart that last several hours on one charge and an atty that doesn't clog easily and is easy to clean. And since I stocked up on the Gourmet Vapor 40% sale, I am good to go for six months or so without having to spend anything.

Now I use my 510 clone for trying new flavors and DIY mixes. I did purchase a mod, and at first I used the hell out of it, but now, I am so happy with the Joye eGo Mega that it will sit on the shelf except when something drastic happens.
