Thank you very much for the link! it seems his wick is a lot more dense than what I now have. Will attempt again, and report!

Cheers!
No problem. I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone say, "not too much, not too little. Just right."

Come on, Goldilocks. Show me!

With my Ammit 25, I always build the coil with a 3.5mm internal diameter. This is because the juice holes on the deck are quite big and 3.5mm dia coil gives you fatter wick tails to fill the juice holes.

There is enough space between the posts, but keep the coil low because it could contact the top of the inside of the bell. I have had this happen before using twisted wire. I always check the resistance before fitting the top of the tank on, and then I check after fitting the top of the tank. If there is a difference then I know I've got a short somewhere. I do this before wicking just in case I've got to disassemble it again.

Hello again!

After a few months of persistence (im surprised at myself), and still finding leaks around air vents, (please see images on previous page), multiple wicks and im sure im only getting better, I may have realized another theory. Should be noted, that the leaks start only after the 2nd or 3rd refill.

I may be possible, the juice is condensing in the chimney, and the travelling down to the air vents. There seems to be drops of the juice on top of the build deck, and the roof of the chimney. I have attempted many builds, and for this I am using SS316 fused clapton, at bout 45w, .58ohm.

Any thoughts ?
Thank you all.
