Hello

I'm out of the San Antonio TX area, smoked cigs for 25 years, quitting 2 years ago using Chantix and Cigars. Even with that method, it took a full 6 months before I stopped desiring a cig. I was enjoying my cigars and pipe tobacco just fine, when I saw a co-worker with a Lotus ecig, I thought it was worth the 25 dollars to give it a try, so I picked one up the next day. I was rather surprised at how much I've enjoyed it!

That was 3 weeks ago, since then I've begun educating myself and have just graduated to the ego-c series, I picked up at the Thanks For vaping store in the local area. No complaints thus far, I'm really digging this new hobby, it's just as complex a topic as the cigars/pipe tobacco I enjoy.

I have no immediate plans to quit tobacco, but I'm not trying to smoke either. I really like how I can vape indoors without the mess I get with thick cigar smoke and ash. Lately my truck has never smelled better ;)

Welcome and good luck! I didn't have immediate plans either, but I just couldn't stand the taste of cigs anymore after vaping. I'm sure it won't be long until you get there.

I got my new setup today and I'm so excited about diving into the world of ejuice. Now I get why people like to smoke pipes (experimenting with flavors, setup, equipment, etc).

I can't wait to get the smell out of my car!

Welcome! Always nice to see another from San Antonio...

I haven't stopped by Thanks For Vaping yet, near Blanco Rd. area? Need to swing by there one of these days. I have been going to Vaporescence on Perrin Beitel really convenient and close to home. I have given up analogs hopefully for the last of many prior attempts, still enjoy a cigar now and then and don't feel bad about it. This forum is loaded with great information and people more than willing to answer questions...

Good luck and enjoy :)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes.

Uno mas, I do plan on dropping by your store as it is a bit closer than Thanks For Vaping ob Blanco, OBTH they plan on opening another store soon. Although i do plan on making some online purchases, I do prefer to drop my money within the local economy when feasible and affordable. At Vaporescence do you have any cig/cigar/pipe flavors you can recommend?

They have 3 racks with sample bottles, bring your drip tip, could theoretically keep you occupied for hours :thumb: There are a few flavors we get from them currently and probably 1-1/2 racks left to sample. I haven't bought any tobacco flavor from there yet as I enjoy Vermillion Rivers - Kentucky Blend and really enjoy Heather's Heavenly - Pirates Booty, loaded up enough of both to last me a while. I just got in my DIY supplies today, I put a hurtin' on the mailman, hehehehe, vapemail from 4 different places showed up, had a too much time on the computer this weekend, always hurts the wallet, :)

Anyway I'm looking at extracting my own tobacco flavors from my cigars, there's a couple awesome threads here on doing it, different approaches, but both look very appealing to me and fun to do...

Good luck, think I'll try and hit Vaporescence this Sat, depends if I'm going to be stuck at work or not...

Thanks, I'm not at that level yet where I feel conformable making my own, but I'll get there. I really like creamy Connecticut cigars, so I'm hoping to find something that fits that flavor profile, if you know of something, feel free to chime in.

np :)

Regarding tobacco taste/reviews/opinions read all over the place, probably more so than any other type of juice. I absolutely love Pirates Booty (HHV) and enjoy Kentucky Blend (VR) both I vape daily. Best thing I can say to do is try sample sizes till you find something you like and go into Vaporescence, there's at least a dozen or more flavors/blends, keep in touch...

I need to stop by Vermillion River one of these days.

Thanks, I hadn't found that link yet, I'll be sure to check them out.

Thanks, I just placed an order at Goodjuice, a little bit of everything in the 6ml size, I also placed an order with Discount vapors for some additional hardware, picking up a setup for my dad and wife. I already bought 2 setups for my in-laws last week, they are loving it! They haven't quit tobacco, but they have definitely cut-down.

Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids
Welcome to Vermillion River Premium E-Juice

Both of these companies offer sample packs HHV is a 4-pack and VR is a 6-pack, you pay a premium compared to buying 30ml bottles but you also will not be stuck with a large amount of something that doesn't quite do it for you...

BTW, just dripped Angle Kiss (got it today) with the wife and it's really good, hard to describe fully other than a fruit thing going on...

Good luck :)
