Hello,
my name is Matt and I figured this was the best way to break my posting virginity. I live in Edmonds, Washington (suburb of Seattle) and have been peeking around your forums for a while. I've smoked for almost 20 years now (where does the time go?) and obviously like all of you am quitting.
I have been vaping now for almost 2 months and am absolutely loving it. It's turning into a hobby. I bought my first device at a tobacco shop that I frequent and realized that I enjoyed using it but the battery life and carts sucked real bad. If any new people are reading this I highly recommend not buying a device that looks like a cigarette. Yes it seems to be a great idea but in the end disappointing. I then bought an 801 and enjoyed it but I deliver pizza for a living and dripping and driving (I hate carts) was not working for me. I now have an ego-t and love it. Best thing ever.
Anyways I am down from 1 1/2 packs per day to 2 - 5 cigarettes per day. I actually did go 3 days without smoking but I hung around some friends that smoke and that went out the window. Oh well, I still try every day and I know that eventually I will be an ex-smoker as long as I don't give up. So that's my story, I'm sticking to it and I am very excited to join this community.
