I have been trolling here for a while without joining but decided that today was the day to post, so here i am.
Hope to get to know some of you guys and gals better further down the line.

Bye for now:)

wow ...didnt expect this welcome...thanks guys/gals

Just want to clear somthing up ...i have got a 510 manual (last friday) that after charging as per instructions and using for a day, now only lasts for about 30mins on a full charge...i have sent it back but the company said that there is nothing wrong with it.
Ok so i do tend to sit vaping non stop but i thought it would last longer than that.

Faulty or not?

Thanks again for the welcome

between here and there
Well, I suppose it is possbile. Maybe the companie will allow you to upgrade or trade the one you send back. Since the 510's are around 180 mah, the batteries don't last as long between charges. See if the company has an Ego or a Riva or maybe an ego passthrough, if you are around a usb port a lot. The ego passthrough will allow you to hook to your computers usb port and you can use it all day long. You can also unplug it and take it with you. The egos usually hold a charge for 6 - 8 hours or so.
Hope this helps

Hi glad your here. You will love it so many people with so much knowledge all here to help out. No question is too silly to ask. I love it I never feel "duh dumb" feeling asking.
I have a 510 too, and for the first while it was stuck to my face, couldn't get enough. My bat lasted long than 30 min. At least a hour. But now that it's not an extention of my mouth I can get at least 2 hours from it. But my first 510 bat crapped out after 1 week no warrenty:( . The rest are good though, I did switch to a differnt 510 brand. I sure that there is someone that can answer you bat. question way better than I can.

Welcome to the ECF, Res!

I too started out with a 510. Good device but the battery life is the big weakness. I would agree with the above post that a Joye eGo or a Riva would be a great device to upgrade to. They use 510 atomizers so you can still use some of the hardware you already have. I use the eGo USB battery (passthrough) and I love it. Mine is the 1000mAh version but a 650mAh version is also available. The great thing is you can use it while it is charging! I keep it charging via USB when I'm at the office, in the car, at home etc.. Then, when I need to get mobile, I simply unplug and go!. I always have more than enough charge available. Even the non-USB type 650mAh eGo batteries will last you 5-8 hours, depending on you often you vape. I have gotten as much as 10.5 hours from one charge! Either way, if you like the 510 the eGo/Riva will give you everything you like about the 510 but more of it for longer time periods with greater consistency. Hope that helps. :)

I res! My first pv was a 510 manual from joye (not the rebranded ones). During my 1st month with it, my battery can last for about 4 hours and then gradually decreasing along the succeding months. Maybe you would want to check it with your seller if your 510 is a geniune joye.. I understand that theres a lot of suppliers who sells 510 knock offs.

Im in the process of making a torch mod with a 18650 battery....should get more than an hour out of that
Thanks again
