Hey there. Just a fair warning. Don't let that Joye 510 shape your impressions of vaping on the whole. There are many, many more personal vaporizers that I think you will find a lot more pleasing than a basic 510. Use the 510 for awhile and if it's not working for you, start looking into 5v/6v mods. You can read all about them on the forum.

Greetings,
This is my first post. I spent the last 3 days, sick in bed, researching e cigs. I almost immediately found this forum and haven't left since. I have tried to read and digest everything.
Background: Female mother of a 15 year old, smoked since I was a teen full time from age 18. I'm now 53. 35 years. It's time to quit. I've tried other methods, only to go back. The first time I saw e cigs was at a mall kiosk. The first thing I asked about was the safety of the product. They showed me some certificate from another country's lab. I wasn't impressed. That was about 8 months ago, just a few months before I was getting married for the second time around. I had a lot to focus on.

I really need to quit NOW so I decided to do my own research and found myself here. Thank you for clearing up all my questions about safety. I'm ready... but the info is so vast about all the products and methods I decided to start out trying the disposable first. They won't cost me any more than my reg brand of cigs. I haven't ordered yet. I thought I would get some varying nic levels and flavors. Smoke from one to one and half packs of KOOL's 100's in the blue pack per day. Appolo has good reviews on their disposables.

Thoughts and suggestions from the vaping community are welcomed! I really want to order today and get started. My goal is to quit smoking analogs, weaning off the nic, and throwing it all away. I don't care how long it takes as long as I keep moving toward my goal. I want to see my son grow up and see my grandchildren. I want to grow old with my new husband. He quit 15 years ago and has always encouraged me to quit but never hounded me. He knows how hard it is and told me my cravings will last for a year after I quit.

Each person is an individual so my journey will be my journey, I'm not making any assumptions about anything.
My user name menas: "the beginning" and "the end". The beginning of a new life as a non smoker. The end of smoking.
Thanks for the forum.
