Hello everyone! Just thought I should introduce myself :)
I'm Linda and I have just bought my first PV; an Innokin iTaste, the one with the clearomiser. Very new to all this, started using it on Saturday night and had 3 cigarettes since (from 20+ a day), just because they are there...have 2 left and when they are gone, they are gone! I'm currently vaping cherry cola flavoured liquid which I am really enjoying. I did get a small selection of 10ml flavours including the RY4 that I have seen a lot of people rave about (I have lurked for a while :) ) but I actually can't stand  also, surprisingly, I cannot stand the Vermillon River menthol flavour either.
I have a few more flavours on the way but am happy to vape on the cherry cola until they arrive. Loving the iTaste; I know a lot of people start on things like cig-a-likes and eGo batteries so was a bit worried going straight for the variable battery type thing but I think I have made one of the best decisions of my life! Though, I have to say, it feels 'too good to be true' at the moment...is it really this easy to give up smoking?!?
Anyhow, I have blabbered on enough, thank you if you read all of that! Any advice you can think of greatly received :)
I look forward to talking to you all and learning soooo much!

Welcome Linda9398 !! A lot of people really love the Innokin iTaste...I was just reading a thread on another forum where someone I respect a lot was raving about it. Don't have one myself, but might get one, one of these days. Right now I'm rockin' with a mess of other stuff, including my newest "babies" eGo T Mod and 3.7 Gripper. Flavor/taste is a very subjective thing. I've seen people wax poetic about RY4 flavors...and others who positively HATE it. A bunch of people loved the V2 menthol last year. I couldn't stand it, and I was a menthol vaper! I muddled along with it...but it surely wasn't my fave. I thought there was something wrong with me because I seemed to be the only person who didn't like it! harhar! Glad you took to vaping so quick! Happened to me too...only I never did pick up another cigarette from my first vape on. I had 7 unopened brand new packs of cigs...and never smoked them. They are sitting in my freezer now....a year later. Wonder if they are still okay? Maybe if they are I should just give 'em away. I sure as heck won't be smoking again. I know that much!

Glad to meet you!

Its a great replacement for death sticks and it has become a hobby for me more than smoking was, although I experimented with the world of cigars. Its not too good to be true, I have found that my nicotine cravings aren't as intense even though I still look forward to puffing on my vaporizer:)

Welcome to the team of change, its a new world that's growing every day. For good reason, too! This is one of the best communities I've seen and I hope you feel as welcomed as I do :)

Hi!

Don't feel bad if you have a cig, like most will say here, it's the ones you don't have that counts. I have been vaping for 16 days now, and am down to three reg cigs yesterday, coming from a pack a day. Some are able to quit as soon as they get their first e-cig, great for them!! Myself, not so easy. I will get there eventually. I must say that this has been the easiest journey to get off cigs without the horrible withdrawals.

If you have questions ask away. There are many knowledgable people here that will do their best to help you out. Since you have been lurking I probably don't need to tell you that LOL. I lurked for quite a while before actually registering here. :D

Make yourself at home.

Thanks so much for the lovely welcome!

@fourthrok I was really surprised not to like the menthol too, it's like there's a burnt caramelly type flavour to it that's turning me off, but that could be my smoker's taste buds talking, I guess things could change over the next few weeks as Buggs53547 says!

I'm just really happy that I have a real chance at stopping smoking now and saving a good bit of money...if I don't get addicted to shiny new things that is! :)

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on your success with your Innokin iTaste.

I'm not an RY4 fan either. Steeping didn't improve my opinion of them. I've heavily diluted the two I've tried with vanilla, caramel and cream flavored juices. Both now a decent vape for me.

I was lucky enough to find a few juices I liked right away. However, I'm currently working my down the popular juice sellers list, post #1275 to order samples.

Hi Linda. Welcome to ECF.

For some people, it is that easy to switch to vapeing.

The iTaste is a nice device. I think it's the perfect place to start. If more people start with one of the smaller vv devices like the iTaste, Twist, or vv Kgo I think there will be more people, like you, that enjoy vapeing right away.

You might want to try a ViVi nova to go with your iTaste.

Good luck quitting analogs.
