I'm new to vaping, but have been a long time occasional smoker. I wanted to try ecigs because I generally only smoke in social settings, i.e.; at parties, or bars and I was looking for a more healthy way to smoke. I say more healthy and not healthier because I realize that the jury is still out on the long term effects of vaping. Also, I like to smoke. I like act, I like the feeling of smoking. What I don't like is the ash, the acrid after smell and the nicotine withdrawal that I go through after I decide to give it a rest.

So, when ecigs came along, I did some research and took the plunge. I purchased a V2 starter kit and have been experimenting with all of the flavors. So far, Big Red is my favorite flavor. I prefer the cartridges with the least amount of nicotine and am looking to get some advice here on gear and flavors.

I'm on the same boat as you!

I'm not a hardcore smoker but I smoke on social occasions only; small amout of cigs and big pauses (10 cigs in one moth and stop smoking for 4-8 months and starting again another month) but then again, everytime I smoke I feel bad because I know it's doing harm to my body so I want to buy a nicotine free e-cig from V2 cigs. I wanted to ask you a question: How is the V2 working so far? Does it look like a real cig? did you purchase the nicotine free?

If what you have works for you that's all that matters, If you want to blow bigger clouds or more of a throat hit you could get an ego battery with a Evod or even better the Vamo with a Protank. If you like to tinker you could go with a Kamry k100 and an AGA-T and if the money is flowing you could get something like a Roesmods, IHybrid, Gen2 for tinkering or a Provari with somesort tank, dripping into a bridgeless atomizer is also a spectacular vape. As for juice I use MountBakerVapor for the cheap stuff, Heathers Heavenly Vapes has some pretty good flavors,

I basically do the same thing. Usually two or three cigarettes a day, more on the weekend and then I'll stop for four or five months. Pick it up again and put it down. I decided to switch to ecigs not just for health reasons, but also because I was tired of going through nicotine withdrawal everytime I quit. Also, I tend to get cluster headaches and the nicotine makes them much worse. Lastly, I like the fact that I can vape and not have it in my hair, clothes or hands.

The V2 is great so far. I didn't get zero nicotine carts, but went with the lowest available. I did want some kick. I splurged and got their biggest kit. My only complaint is that the vape from the battery isn't as thick as a regular smoke. Not a problem with their power ecig which plugs directly into a USB port.

My favorite flavor is Red followed by Cherry and Sahara. In all honesty none of them have a real tobacco flavor, but I found that the Red has a smooth slightly sweet caramel flavor and almost no throat hit.

After finding this site I splurged some more and got a whole starter kit.
