Just click on a few other posts like yours, and welcome them, telling them your new too.
Do that on 5 different posts and Waa Laa, you've got your 5 posts in.

There are a lot of vapers on here that "accidently" quit smoking.
There are so many benefits that have nothing to do with actually smoking that you have not even thought about.
Your car window won't get dirty anymore, you can run up those stairs, you don't stink, you can taste and smell again (sometimes it's not so good), you don't have to "finish it", just a few puffs and back in your pocket etc etc.
You may also find that caramel popcorn, RY4, and strawberry shortcake taste better than a cig.
Welcome, and enjoy

I am one of those new vapers that quit smoking accidentally. Picked up one of those gas station e-cigs that resembled the real thing for use indoors while at a computer, then realized i dropped to 2-3 analogs a day from 1pack a day and figured, why the hell not. Did not want to quit, enjoyed smoking, but figured if i could enjoy it without the smell clinging on me and it would benefit my health as well then i might as well right? I even found that it kills most sweet cravings for me. Vaping is pretty great and this forum is a wealth of information and resources and seems to have a pretty friendly community. Congratulations to your wife for quitting and hopefully you soon as well!

Hi Kirk, and welcome to ECF! Like you, I really enjoyed smoking. So much so, that when my boyfriend first suggested that we try e-cigs, I was like no way, I wasn't giving up my cigarettes. But then I started doing some research, especially on here, and I decided to give it a try. We started out with the Smokeless Image Volt's and they worked to a degree, but after a while they just weren't cutting it, and we both went back to analogs. After a few months, I decided to try again with an ego twist battery and T3s clearomizer, and that did the trick. I have now been smoke free for 16 days and couldn't be happier. Now I'm trying to get my boyfriend setup with something he likes so he can get off the stinkies for good too!

Good luck with your new gear and remember this is an awesome place to ask questions if you have any problems!

I didn't intend to quit smoking when I first started vaping. I just didn't want to have to go outside in the freakin' cold this winter to smoke. On the first day I was down to 3 smokes, after b'fast lunch and dinner. After about a week, the smokes started making me sick, literally sick. It was fairly easy then. I still had some weird stuff happening to my body and still do, but I don't have the need to smoke anymore. Good luck on your vaping journey!!

Hi and welcome to ECF. Click on the number down under my avatar that says blog entries and there are a few links there regarding top juice vendors, where to trade your juices and info on the tank cracking juices. Do some reading and posting in the various forums here. It is easy to get real involved in the vaping and find it is a new hobby. Great to have you here and love your attitude!
