New to the forum, been lurking around today reading some posts. I'm new to e-cigs, in fact I just ordered a starter kit from Vapor Nine after looking around for awhile. Seems like they have a large following and good customer service.

Been a smoker for 15 years, got interested in trying an e-cig for multiple reasons.... it's cheaper, I won't have to paint my white walls every few years, plus the fact that it doesn't have the tar... did I mention it's cheaper! :2c:

Now I'm just looking forward to trying it for the first time, shipped out the 2nd but havn't recieved it yet, aweful anxious to give it a try. If I like it then I just need to make my girlfriend a convert.

Good luck, I smoked for over 50 years off and on and I've been off reg cigs for several months and have not been tempted to go back. I have quit wheezing and coughing completely. It takes awhile to get used to all the different terminology and different setups but it is well worth it. I've tried several different models, 901, 801's and 510's and the main problem with all of them is you are constantly having to change batteries which if you're at home isn't a problem, I have three batteries charging right now lol. I just ordered a Hello 016 that lasts all day so that should solve that problem. I also ordered some cartomizers to try for my first time and that will solve the problem of having to fill the carts so often which also isn't a problem if you are home but can be when you are out and about or driving. Right now I hust carry several setups with me and have a charger for my car. It is all good though and eventually will be much cheaper than smoking.:toast:

Well I mainly smoke at my computer, so I am thinking at buying the USB pass through for my kit assuming I like it. Just hope the cord is long enough. :)

I've heard good things about Vapor Nine and Ben, so decided to try them. Works out i'll stick with them.

Just remember that there are 2 kinds of pass throughs. There are in line PTs which need a battery and vape at 3.7v and the regular PT which vape at 5v.

Xenite the reason I tried vaping was due to the cost of smoking as well. I was an analog smoker for 25 years at a pack a day and I loved smoking but hated the effects on my body.

Things you might notice when you first start.

You are addicted to more than just the nicotine, it gets easier after the first day or two if you go cold turkey on the analogs.

If you have ever in the past tried to quit smoking You will start saying to yourself... why the H#LL didn’t I do this before, and why hasn't anyone told me about this sooner? This is AWESOME. I actually gave up analogs the same day I started vaping.

If you had a wheeze or cough it clears up rather quickly. At least in my case it did.

My experience is that my mouth gets very dry! I really notice this during the night. Did I mention that it makes your mouth dry (lol)?

You will notice extra money in your bank account; seriously, I was spending how much a week? This is slightly offset by the amount of juice and gadgets you start buying online for vaping but it will eventually outweigh your desire for new supplies.

Good luck and I wish you all the success in the world.
