I have been vapeing for a couple of months now and the journey has been difficult. There are no B and M places in NZ and only 1 online store that I have found. I have spent a LOT of money so far on buying stuff which has been a big failure up until a few days ago when I got a Kanga Bottom Coil Clearomiser and finally I can actually vape something on my Ego T. This forum has been great Ive learned so much reading posts from all over the world and from members of many different vapeing levels. Ive seen alot of youtube vids some are hysterical and I have enjoyed them for the how not to vape type advice :~) Anyhoo, my question (apart from why does my house look like a chemist and will my dog ever stop wanting to try vapeing for himself and when will vapeing stop costing me a fortune) is, do the clearomisers last for a few days, months weeks? is it cheaper to buy some clearos say 3 for diff vapes and then move on to say a viv nova? I tried my Ego T with carts but they lasted a few days tried cleaning them out but I wasnt good at that, I havent tried the drip tip thing...Sorry for long post but any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Flowerchild, big welcome to the ECF! Congratulations on switching to vaping!

Health Cabin is a good option for international buyers. Best prices and service.
I recommend the Mini Vivi Nova with your eGo batteries. They are really fantastic and with the changeable heads in different resistances and different color plastic tubes and metal tubes, you can really customize! Plus any 510 driptip will fit on the Vivi (although they do come with a stock one). Basically really worth it IMO.

Hey mate, i'm from OZ.

Once you find what you like you can slow down on the spending.

I've spent $750 after almost 7weeks on the vape. I would of spent about $600 on ciggies during this time. The good thing is, i've got a heap of juice and supplies to last me about a year now.

I've bought quite a few stardust, comets, but i've settled on the the Boge carto in a tank. I've found i dont like those clearos with a wick, i cant chain vape confidently as i'll get a dry hit eventually.

Hiya, Im not the only one whos spent alot then, Ive spent far more vapeing than I would have done buying tabacco but I do have some nic liquids, and flavours and made my first lot of e liquid last night (which was so sickly haha)The kanger doesnt have wicks it has this stoopid thing you press down to fill which means you waste juice trying to get it into a tiny slot. I bought a clearo with a wick but the thing was dead on arrival so had to waste $15 postage and 1 week waiting for kanger to arrive. I think the tank thing sounds good but I thought for a noobie I should stick to something as simple as possible.

Thank you, is my Ego T a 510 then? I thought that was the skinny ones. I will look at the Health cabin. I used RTS vapes to buy the nic liquid but it took forever to arrive and the postage was really expensive. the UK was cheaper and quicker to NZ. I have googled such alot of places to buy from so far so its good to be recommended somewhere.

Yes, an eGo battery has a 510 connection. If you look at the top of the battery threads - it has 2 sets, one inner set and then lower down - and outer set of threads. So basically anything with a 510 connection can screw on to your battery. There are little steel cones to hide the outer threads if you are using something non eGo (ie. something 510 without the eGo skirt).

P.S. Helath Cabin is a registered supplier here on the ECF and they are very reliable. All their shipping is trackable. There is slower but very cheap China Mail, little more expensive and faster EMS, and then very fast but more pricey DHL. I have used all three but prefer China Mail because Japan mail is very fast, so once it arrives in Tokyo, I always get it the very same day. So basically, I don't need to use the more expensive options in my case.

Hi flowerchild :)

Welcome to ECF from another kiwi....we are very few here, for sure we are endangered.

There are no dumb questions here, we all started at the same place knowing nothing and learning a lot as we progress through our journey from analogues.

I second the advice to look at Health Cabin, I order all my equipment there, it takes a little while to get here but never over 2 weeks so far use their slow mail, its cheap and reliable. I make my own juice to keep costs down. When I started out it did cost a little more than smoking but now I have enough supplies to last me 2 years and averaged my weekly costs now to about NZ$5 a week, that's for the juice 30 mls a week and rewicking my tanks.

Again, welcome to good to see another kiwi :D

Thanks I will look at the health cabin after work today. I have been ordering my stuff nfrom naked Vapes, rob has been very helpful and I ordered a mini vivi nova last night. I mixed up a couple of flavours but one using vanilla is pretty foul haha must try to find something that goes with armeretto! Its a pity we havent got more choice in NZ the postage is a killer. I have found ordering from the UK is pretty fast tho.
