Help a never before DIY'er

well I have never done anything like this before and I can't find PG or VG locally in any store, and if I do ask someone at the pharmacy if they have it and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Then when I ask them if they can order it they ask me what I need with it (like it's any of there business anyway), but I tell them and they tell me they wont order it for that reason.
So anyway I need to get everything online anyway, which I would prefer to do instead of making a store order it for me. I hear there is no more 36mg, but I vape 24mg so I figure I should just order some plain 24mg and some flavorings.
I'm guessing everyone does a mixture of PG and VG for better amounts of vapor?
Can I order all of what I need from one location or is this going to be another one of those multiple-places-to-order-from situations?
I want the flavors to be potent but not overpowering.
And I would also like a decent throat hit from it all to, which I'm sure I'm not alone in any of this.

Any help for the ridiculous noob with numerous questions would be great.

Edit: Flavors that resemble these flavors would be helpful to (I've only had these kinds of flavors from JC so that's all I'm basing this on) Vanilla Ice Cream, Peach Cobbler, Kona Coffee

I find VG at Michael's, JoAnne's, and Hobby Lobby in the cake decorating isle. The glycerine at the pharmacy, even if you do find some, is not likely to be the food-grade stuff. I found a bottle at Wal-Mart, but it did have some sort of additional additive that the food-grade kind didn't.

PG is available at livestock feed & tack stores. Perhaps it's at PetsMart, but I haven't checked.

When discussing the nature of my interest in these products with busybody pharmacists and clerks, I breeze right through the 'screening' process by telling them I am making aroma-therapy oils. It is actually a truthfull answer.

I went to the loacal Michael's here, and they don't have it, went to a local hobby shop, nothing there. Went to wal-mart and nothing there, livestock feed & track stores are only open while I'm at work and are closed when I get out so I can't get anything from them unless I leave work early or just don't go to work, and I can't afford either one of those options. Local pharmacies like I said give me a hard time so I'd rather just order online all the stuff I need, especially if I'm just gonna have to have a store order it for me, may as well do it myself, plus I'd like it with nicotine already in the pg/vg

Juicyliquid has everything you described and their flavorings are delicious. You can get 24mg unflavored in PG or VG plus they have bottles, syringes, etc. Great customer service, too. They are listed in the suppliers section.

for more vapor would I want to get a 36mg flavorless pg and get a 0mg VG and dilute the 36mg with the VG?

If it's worth anything, I'm using a 510 manual switch.

I use 36mg no flavor juice, normally. I cut it in half using the VG. You can get VG at LorAnn flavorings

I got Willots VG at Hobby Lobby in the candy making aisle. It is pure VG but you have to look hard the bottle is rather small. Even so it is the thicker variety so you would probably add a little distilled water to the mix. Also LorAnns flavorings were found there as well in my store dropper tops for them were immediately above.

I had to go to Michael's for extra glass dropper bottles tho and my friendly WalMart pharmacist gave me a couple of syringes for free as well as small empty med bottles with childproof caps. (Wonder what he thought I was doing).

alright so I've been looking into loranne, bickford, and the flavors at juicyliquid. I was wondering are these themselves more liquid and then I was wondering with how much I have to put into the flavorless nic, is 24mg going to be diluted down even more? It looks like juicy liquid has 36mg so should I buy that and some no nic liquid and cut it down to 24mg factoring in the amount of flavoring I need to add? I don't know this just kind of confuses me. I don't want to buy until I'm sure I know what I'm doing.

IMO, you need to be careful buying Bickfords. It was no where near as strong as the Lorann's flavorings. And my Blackberry brandy fiasco has really put me off on Bickfords. But that is just my opinion. And yes, adding flavorings will decrease the nicotine content. What I thought was 15-16mg tested out to only 11 mg when my hubby's doc tested it.

thanks for the help jules, so I should get 36 and cut it down accordingly, and i'll look more into lorann's although I was hoping that bickford would be good, they have so many delicious sounding flavors

has anyone tried the Juicyliquids flavors? Is it the FlavorPak "Naked" what I'm looking for? If so anyone have any reviews on there flavors and how much you get out of this pack? Or any other information about them would be helpful to.

You're welcome RC. I'm not saying Bickfords isnt good, the flavors are just a little weaker so it takes more to get the taste you want. I'll still order certain things from them. Like you said, they have some flavors other places don't

And their customer service is really great! They sent me the wrong thing. Sent the right one out, told me to keep the other one then called to make sure I got it and everything was alright. Just be prepared to use more than you would with LorAnns.

Hi RC, I got my diy stuff from liquidxpress.com, they have a good selections of flavorings too. I have used them myself and it makes a good vape. They also have a mixing guide on their site.

Another great place is myfreedomsmokes.com. Chris has an awesome diy kit for a very reasonable price with tons of goodies including an instruction sheet! I buy the 24 mg. double flavor stuff from Chris and it is awesome too. You can cut it down and not lose flavor.

Both places ship quickly and I have had great luck with both. Beats running around to differnet shops looking for ingredients. Good Luck.
