between here and there
How low was the tank in liquid? Are you using a clear liquid or a thick dark one? Do you have only one battery? Some times it is better to have two with different types of liquid in them, so you can rotate them, allowing one to cool off before using it again. Besides, alternating tastes keeps it interesting. Just my 2 cents.

:)

Burnt taste with a clearo means that you're vaping on a dry coil. not recommended.

Take your T3 apart, look at the coil and try cleaning it; a soak in PGA is usually enough. When you vape, take occasional puffs without activating your battery--this helps to remove any air bubbles that often find their way into the tank and block juice flow to the coil.

Think this is what they called hot spot / dry hit. Meaning your liquid have not reach the wick / mesh / coil. Hence the burnt taste. Try cleaning it or dry burn the coil. Cleaning the coil frequently can preserve the taste of your liquid
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd understood that a "hot spot" was a wrap or two on the coil where it gets hotter than the rest of it, causing an inconsistent heating of the coil. That overheating could burn the juice hitting the coil at that point. Yes?

That's my understanding of the hot spot too, not sure about the burning but just the inconsistency of heat across the coil can make it vape differently

It still tasted burnt even on the lowest voltage. I upgraded to a pro tank mini today so I'm just going to try to mess with the t3s and see if I can get it working right for a back up.

Dont know if it helps, but this YouTubed Vid shows a coil rebuild for the T3;
Kanger T3 Bottom Coil Atomizer Rebuild HD Close Up - YouTube

Is that the only one that tastes burnt? May be a quality control issue...out of the 6 Evods we have, one was "toast" fro the first fill.
Going to throw some 3mm wick in it and see how it behaves.
