Need help! In order to get the vape I like (very strong/ almost harsh), I use KangerTech Aero tank, 1.5 ohms, Vision Spinner at 4.3v and a strong cinnamon juice (24mg/ml), PG 80% VG 20%). It's working well- except I'm going through heads almost DAILY. Help! Any ideas to keep the vape I like without buying heads in bulk?

Any help is very appreciated! Thanks!

You certainly could've got a bad batch of heads, the QC on replacement heads is sketchy at best.
A five pack of replacement heads runs about $5 ~ $7.

You can try soaking them in PGA for a couple hours to overnight then a gentle dry burn, then another soak, blow out & allow to dry.

BTW, Vision spinners (most if not all ego style batteries) have a 2.5 amp limit.
Just because you set the dial to 4.3v that doesn't mean it is firing at that voltage.
When you reach or try to exceed 2.5a the protection circuitry automagically reduces the output V's to a level that protects the battery / person pushing the button.
Unless the amp limit circuit is damaged or malfunctioning it is actually powering the head with 3.75v.
2.5a = 1.5ohm / 3.75v @ 9.37w

I'm surprised you aren't having to charge your battery more often. At 4.3v and a 1.5 coil you're putting out 12 watts (rounded) and pulling 2.8 amps. That's a lot for a Spinner. You might want to consider a bigger battery.

As far as the heads: what's happening with them? Are they burning or getting gunked up?

The original Spinners had a 2.5a limit, but I think the Spinner II might have a higher amp limit, still likely not enough for how he's using it. I would have thought when it reached it's limit it would shut off, I didn't realize the Spinner was sophisticated enough to adjust down.

They're burning. I can maybe get three days out of them (if I'm lucky) until my liquid starts to taste burnt (and turns black). When removed, there's nothing left.

If I used a bigger battery, would it take care of the head issue?

It might. Whether or not running the battery to the edge of what it can handle is the issue, I can't say, but the way you describe how you like your vape and Spinner just isn't powerful enough for you.

No.
3 days at 12 watts on a commercial coil with thick dark liquid sounds pretty good.

You should refill before they are empty, burnt black juice means you're overpowering the heads or allowing them to run dry.
When the juice turns very dark you should dump it rinse the clearo and refill to prevent a burnt taste build up.
Also the tiny pieces of wicking material inside the head can't keep up with rapid or chain vaping, they need time or primer puffs to re saturate to prevent burnt tastes.

Sounds like it is time to experiment with a few different delivery devices to find something more suitable for your vaping preferences.

Suggestions for a better set-up? The Ocelot- I am using the Spinner II. My battery will last me about 6-8 hours.

Thanks everyone for the help!!

At the moment (checks watch since the market changes so fast) the Innokin MVP seems to be the favorite entry level mod. This is the best US price going that I know of:

Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape

ETA: I added "US," since I don't know what FastTech is selling them for.
