Help. Burnt taste nautilus

Been using the nautilus for a while and never had a burnt taste before. 1.8 coil vape around 10-11 watts.
Coil is 2 days old. Only things I've done different is move down to a lower nic level 12mg to 6mg. New eliquid Elements key lime cookie 50/50 (normally use a higher pg)
Any ideas what's happening ?

If you are getting a burned taste sounds like the coil is done for and needs changing. Are you talking about the Nautilus or the Nautilus Mini and the BVC coils? Did you prime the coil and what wattage are you firing it at?

It's the nautilus mini bvc coil
Been using it for over 2 years. Never had a burnt taste.
Wondered if it could be the new eliquid is 50/50 to thick ? Or am I vaping to much as I've just gone down to a 6mg. Wattage 10-11

Well I use the Minis and have 3 while vaping High or Max VG all the time. I have fried a coil that I only put in the night before by accidentally firing it at too high a wattage. I can say from personal experience the BVC coils do not perform well with e-Liquid that has sweeteners in them.

At 10-11 watts you should not have problems and have you checked that the coils are authentic? Check the scratch off code on the box on the Aspire site.

The 1.8 Triton Clapton coils can go up to 16w. If that's the one your using.. I would just switch the coil. It happen once in a while with all pre-built coils. If it continues to happen then it could be a couple of other things but it probably was a bad coil from the start.

Maybe the Element e-liquid it's the key lime cookie one. I know the pink lemonade recks coils. It is an authentic coil. I am chain vaping a lot as I've dropped nic level as well

I have found the best way to prolong coil life as a chain vaper myself is to keep drawing when you release the fire button to help cool the coil down and prime it for next hit. Works for me and I get surprising life out of all the coils I use.
