I enjoyed the iClear 30s that came with my ProVari, but the tank is plastic, so now i'm worried about the plastic seeping into the e-liquid, as well as some liquid being cracking liquid that might not be suitable for the tank.. i know a lot of people recommend Kanger's ProTank2, but i was just wondering what other options are out there?

In addition, kanager's protank 2 is around 9 dollars, but they have so many other models that are priced a lot higher... what exactly are the differences?

I used to use a ibtanked tank with cartomizer, but carts are so inconsistent, so i've been meaning to find a good clearomizer to settle down with. was wondering if anyone could lend a helping hand in choosing a good one? :)

I dont mind getting a moderately priced tank, but do prefer to have the replacement atmoizer heads to be cheaper since those are the things that will end up costing more in the long run.

also, i think reading on the forum, some tanks have heads you can rebuild yourself? does that mean you can just keep using the same head and just simply replace the wicks ?

Sounding like a fan boy again but I have tried a bunch and my favorite is the Beyond Vape Silo Lite the lite is important. It can use standard aspire bvc heads which I get for 8 bucks for a 5 pick.

It has a small diameter but is a little taller. It holds ~3.5 ml of liquid which is quite a bit for it's size. It does not have adjustable airflow but most people are fine with what it has. I drilled my airholes larger as I am a airflow junkie.

The greatest thing from this is flavor. Flavor is amazing compared to any clearo I have tried. The flavor is close to rebuildable attys.

Here is the tank

Any Aspire BVC coil tank will do fine. The Aspire K1 seems to have the least issues and is about 7 dollars usually. I'd recommend the Silo Lite as well, except it is deceptively priced - the shipping is very very high, and you can't get them anywhere else than the main site that I've seen. For the cost with shipping you could find a Nautilus Mini that has airflow control, although it uses a different coil size that is more expensive.

That said, Protank 2 with an airflow controller base replacement (around 4$) makes a nice clearo, with the atty heads only around 1$ each. Not quite as good as a BVC clearo, but pretty darn good for the price.

I recommend the Protank 2 based on it being solid technology and older so the coils are probably less expensive. I'm totally in love with my EMOW though though it's pricier and I assume the coils would be more expensive. My local shop charges the same price for a 5 pack of any type of coil though. Not sure if i'm getting robbed though lol

rounding third and heading home...
i recommend the joyetech delta in any of their 3 sizes. best clearo i haved vaped to-date and their triple bottom coil produces great flavor and vapor. the coils last much longer than any aspire or kanger coil and i have had zero issues as far as quality. of course, if you wish to be hit and miss and take a gamble about the quality of the replacement coils then, by all means, choose a kanger or aspire tank. it is so much fun with those wondering if you got one that actually works or not.....adds a little excitement to your vaping*

yes, that was sarcasm.......

For me, having owned a bunch, I really think the Aspire Vivi Nova-s is the best value/performance out there. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about that.

It takes the BVC coil (which is responsible for the real performance). Everything else is just aestetics. The VN takes 3.5 ML is made of stainless and glass and performes EXACTLY like the Mini Nautilus everyone is raving about.

And it's about $15 cheaper, holds double the juice in the same form-factor and the coils are 30% less for the VN than for the Naughty - with the exact same performance.

No brianer for me.

I was going to say miniprotank2, but just realised you said provari, and provari doesn't come with an eGo thread.
In which case you might as well go straight to one of the newer airflow controlled tanks like the aerotank or nautilus, or maybe the iclear gladius or iclear x.1 might use compatible coils to what you already have.

check the 'model' dropdown menu to compare below:
